Was riding from KAP back to Bt. Panjang, there was a Nissan Sunny (SGM3122_) forgot the last letter, he start to tailgate me

along PIE(Tuas) before the exit toward BKE He overtook me despite there is barely enough space for his car on the other lane.

I can use my hand to touch his car (this is how close it is). I gonna keep left whenever his car approaches me from my right how

the ___ he get his license. i hi-beam him "non-stop" , he treat it as nothing happen.

Weird. I too was tailgated but by SJA1881T this morning. Thankfully I was keeping an eye on the car using my trusty mirrors. For a while later I could have become roadkill. The driver just sped up and I had to evade by shifting to my left. A while later he changed to centre lane and the expressway was starting to jam up. I slowly ride beside him and he was staring at me giving the look as though he did nothing wrong. I remained calm and squeezed my way out of the slow traffic and get as far away from him.

Yeah. It should be the other way round.They should instead look out for us. Sadly these incidents happens when there is no TP nearby.

Just now peak hour traffic on PIE saw a crazy maserati driver tailgate ppl and keep using high beam and revving engine and anyhow cut others at high speed. still loose to us bikers squeezing between traffic. hahaha

But most of the driver despise rider So some of them may offer help to the driver.

 

They only see us taking our "revenge" (Making us look reckless) but

never see the driver danger our life...

Today while riding to work, a dumb FZ-16 rider rode between the lanes so slowly during rush hour. When gap are big enough between the cars, he stopped..I was the fifth rider behind him. The rider anyhow jam brake. All the immediate riders behind him had to stop They overtake him, he don't give way.

 

I've tailed Phantoms at times, some give way in rush hour traffic cos they can't squeeze thru easily,some don't, but all they still ride more steadily through rush hour traffic. This guy..save his own ass at the expense of endangering others.

 

Just want to rant off...

today while riding, one of the carpark barrier at suntec city got knocked aside by a car, so i had to use the other carpark gantry. then for some reason, i was distracted by the gantry that i never noticed the one in my lane came down already. wah, almost went straight into the barrier.

While riding to work today, suddenly tpms blink and pressure drops drastically and within 20secs down to zero! Had no choice but ride slowly to the nearest petrol station and luckily in my box got worms.. fixed the problem and zooom for work!

On Wednesday nite around 9pm, I was riding on PIE(Changi) when this Comfort taxi came to tailgate me when I was at Lane 2 (Lane 1 was CLEAR!) I was so fed up I open throttle & he slowed down. When I was about to exit at Clementi ave 6 into AYE, I realised my gear lever is gone. Lucky I managed to change gear without the lever & eventually reached Alexandra Village & HKL is still opened. Got them to fix up for me

Steel braided line don't like being vent sharply. Maybe that's what happen with yours? Fortunately it didn't burst under hard braking. That's disaster.

Did you purchased it from an SG bikeshop or made an order online? If its the former then go back there and make lots of noise. If its the latter you could email them and I am sure they will replace the defected one.

It was a manufacturer defect on the brake line cap.

Today while i was riding, actually... not today, its during the weekedays.

My normal route daily is the Nicolle Highway without fail. Normal AM peak hours, heavy traffic.

Only recently, i came to realised that there are getting more and more of cyclists on the road cycling towards the CBD.

No issues if they are keeping to their left ofthe road. I have nothing to say. But i notice that there are more cyclist cycling all over the lanes. Extreme right lanes even when traffic slow. Tho it was slow but it is still moving. There are bikes weaving in and out the 2nd n outter right lanes.

 

I am very worried for you "cyclist" who you think you can cycle very fast, faster than moving traffic doesnt mean you are faster than the bikes.

 

1stly, you don't have a rear view mirror

2nd, you are not moving as fast as you think you are.

3rd, do check you blind spots cos you dont have signal lights

4th, cycling into the right lane is not safe n not right.

Lastly, we motorbikers, has the same risk weaving between cars but when motobikes run into you, you most probably will fly instead of us.

 

So I just wana appeal to those cyclists on Nicole Highway, please stick the left or which ever lane you belong to.
