Today nearly accident thrice!

 

First time, was along Orchard road, on my DR800 going toward the Marina Barrage. There was very very heavy traffic so lane split, then at one point, the car in front on the right was too close to the car in the middle, so cannot pass, so I did what any Malaysian rider would have done and did a crank course to the right of the car to use the space between him and the kerb. But just I turned and was behind the car, he braked hard, and so did I! I braked so hard until my wheels locked and can hear the wheels sliding along the tarmac! Luckily can stop in time and slowly paddle to the right to go around him. Phew!

 

Incident 2 was when I was going back along the treacherous Kampong Bahru after raining..... The road was wet and as curvy as a snake going through a bush. While going round a bend, the rear wheel started to spin and I drifted a bit to the left. Luckily, I already got a premonition got disaster coming, so I already had my right leg down like dirt bike rider like that. Heng Ah!!! The right toe of my rubber rain shoe touched the floor and I quickly "Hui!!!" pushed myself back to the upright position!

 

Then along CTE, as I was lane splitting, I saw a maroon taxi like "Ai Mai, Ai Mai" drift in and out of his lane his right wheels riding on the broken white line. When he drifted back into his own lane, I quickly accelerate to overtake. Just when I was besides the taxi, the taxi drifted to the right towards me again, and just when we all entered a curve!!! On my right was another car so Lan Lan cannot change lane to Siam!

@#$%!!! Chia Lat Liao!!! Going to get squashed and become human sandwich ah!!!! With all my skill, I lean to the right and counter steer a bit to make the bike go right bit by bit all the time keeping just inches from both vehicles left and right.

 

I was so near that my handle bars was just inches from the taxi driver's window. If I just jut out my elbow can touch the right window of the taxi driver already.

Then my bike backfired. The taxi driver like last minute then see me, like "Chua Teo" like that and quickly swerved back into the center of his lane.

 

Wah Heng ah.... quickly ride home.

I ride for 5 years and it's my first time I got hit from behind... Lmao... And he claims it's my fault... Ya, my fault I step on his accelerator to bang into me... Wtf man... Seriously??? -.-

Along choa Chu Kang road towards bukit batok before Phoenix lrt @ 10:30am... How "lucky"... Spent the rest of the day in NUH and the police post... Got home about 5pm... Zzz... What a waste of my time... Bloody blind driver... Zzzzzzzzz

No visible injury, the doctor said... Back ache, chest pain, and arms pain... Nth broken... Only broken parts are my yoshi end can and my jacket scratched by the road... Severely damaged... Zzz... The rest of my bike serious damage for a minor accident... Damn...

Why I say blind and lame, because....

1. Bike so big smack in the middle of his view in slow traffic also cannot see.

2. Give lame excuses.

Claim from the vios insurance till he lao sai. Make sure his next insurance premium no more discounts! Claim jacket claim helmet claim pain & suffering claim loss of income.

Not visible does not mean no injury. After my accident my left hand was fine. Experience some pain sometimes. Went for Xray and nothing wrong. Few months later went for MRI and found out I have a fracture. Its better to play it safe.

i bet that driver was trying to block your lane spilting, knowing he had open up a gap on his right for you he slam on this brake hoping you can rear end him and could claim you plus giving you physcial damage? i hope thats not his intention though. if not is scary to ride on the road having such road users on sg road.

Nope... Gonna do up my bike as good as new... coe ending next year and I plan to renew it... Hehehe... Claim my fairing and everything... My specs in my rear seat box dunno got crack anot... i hate travelling on this stretch of road. always see many vehicles lane changing here cuz they wanna siam those that are queueing to turn right and also to siam those smrt bendy buses
