no smell..not oily..i hope its jux the rain water..does out battery have distiled water inside?or izit battery leaking?

 

 

some battery are dry cell, and some are wet cell.

 

but battery is located under seat with stable cradle.

 

battery wont leak unless, ur bike somersault like Travis Patrana.

 

most propably rain water trapped in ur seat cushion.

 

want to test ur rear shocks ? go over speed hump with 20-30 kmh speed.

if u do not hear any sound, not jumping very hard, u r safe.

 

want to test ur front fork ? roll ur bike and jam front break.

see how ur fork dip in and bounce back smoothly, see fork seals leaking oil or fork legs clean and shiny.. :)

oh...but my rear got wierd problem...when i bounce on the rear suspension when its not moving, the suspension got no sound...when i go over the speed bump got that 'eak eak' sound..(donno how to spell the sound out:cheeky: )..so is rear suspension spoil?

lol could be water..dare to taste it? :p

I doubt you'll be using liquid battery these days..most would settle for dry cells ;) I was away to bikeshop nearby my place to get a light bulb just now, met up with few unknown bikers there.1 rider told me when he starts his TZM in the morning, COOLANT comes out of pipe. :thumb: mech said its the ring/gasket I guess.

what do you think it is since you've done the self test?? :D

bring it down to mech if you're unsure.. maybe you were going over too fast or sth..it should sound like air coming in and out kinda thing.

sound like air coming out as in it should be si si like tat?bike suspension izit like bicycle de can spray wd40 on the metal?izit due to no oil or smth that there is sound?

that happens to me too when i had my old seat ,

 

dude its your seat that has a small hole on the left side...

 

so after rain if you sit on your bike and push your cushion abit it will start to push all the rainwater out..

 

so not suspension leaking or anything in that case...

1) is it illegal to smoke while riding? (not as pillion)

 

2) is it illegal listen MP3 1 side of ear?

 

3) for a Phantom TA200, what amnt of air do i pump for tyres?

 

4) hw much will it cost to lower down the handle bar?

 

5) any of you phantom knights own a Phantom Fire Edition?

4) Won't cost anything if you simply loosen the screws on your riser and adjust the bar position.

o ring should be good enough?

usually around 220 - 235 for most front and rear with front lesser than rear.Just take note when you pump more whats happening to tyre and grip and vice versa.

Erm... but i changed a new one today... the prev owner sprayed the whole IU black lei... den tat guy gave me a 1to1 exchange also...

This quote from LTA website. The warranty is not valid if you wilfully damage your IU or if it is damaged in an accident. Spraying it to a different colour is considered vandalism it & the warranty will be voided as well.

 

IUs are covered by a 5-year warranty against manufacturer’s defects. You will have to pay for a replacement should your IU become faulty after its warranty period. You may check the warranty period of your IU by calling our customer service line at 1800-CALL LTA

You managed to get a 1-1 exchange from VICOM for a sprayed IU? I am surprised...

what if my tires are warm after riding from my place to the nearest kiosk to pump..? say bout 1KM.. gotta wait for it to cool...?
