it better clean away all the rust & dirt b4 you lub ur chain . i use castrol chain wax , as it is good enough for me. as ur brake ,must try and see wat's wrong . (maybe ur ta really fix wit the abs thing :D ) as ur brake fuild it got nothing to do wit the bike started or not . when you park ur bike cos your bike is tilt to the left ,so ur brake fuild level will not be acurate. place ur bike up-right than you will see the true brake fuild level .

:goodluck:

Thank you chinu,

so far after many days, the chain seems loosen. (I mean the individual chain links, no tthe slack.)

I asked around for the "bumpy" braking feeling and some "expert" told me it is the brake disc that is "uneven". Will bring back to my motorshop for advises and hope they change. This was even before I bought the bike.

Ya, the guy yop up front brake fluid...but goodness seek, he did take care of my paint work. The fluid flow down, touches my paintwork & now quite noticable. man, he should have knowledge how to prevent, he expect me to go back to him to ask for repaint & later charge me. What a scam tatic...Later I knew we just pour water to "wash" away the fluid. Pls correct me if I'm wrong...

thank you once again chinu.

May need mroe of you guys help in the future...thank you...:thumb:

Thanks for the advise chinu,

ya...I didn't know how to protect the paint work. At least the mechanic should put cloth la, damm wait until the fluid spill out...ok, now i know, just splash water first, then if really got spilled, splash water again.

About the "bumpy" braking effect

The mechanic ask me to go back tomorrow, may change the whole front fork (exchange from the other used TA200) since the "bumpy" braking effect still there.

I actually brake lightly & gradually using the front brake, then when speed slowed down, I clutch in, still feel the "bump" effect. It's not about when engine going to stall...even when quite fast, I brake as usual, lightly.... effect still there

Goodness, what happen to my bike!!! anyone experience these before?Want to assist me (at least experience bikers, the motorshop may not cheat...) and meet up at Yishun motorshop tomorrow afternoon say after 3pm? can call/sms me 96937085. Thanks in advance.:thumb:

Thank you very much rodhotchillie,

I did not log in to SBF until now, therefore I miss your valuable advises...the mechanic changed another brake disc (also used one from another TA200).Then the "bumpy" braking effect is no more so far. You may be a newbie, but I'm more newbie than many people, thus I still help from you kind hearted guys.

I should have log in...then I can test it today. next time when got chance.

Million thanks redhotchillie... :thumb: :thumb:

Thank you for your concern chinu,

You may not have time to give advises in time, but I sincerely appreciate your earlier advises, thanks man.

I missed out the advises from redhotchillie...bike done already.changed another brake disc (also used one) and no more "bumpy" braking effect so far.

Actually I won't be surprise that used bike has many problems. But as usual...those shop always say done shui shui...but in the end...look at how shui shui it is.

I asked them to tighten my chain too.

Lub my brake handle (somewhere "hidden" pivoted point, don't know what it's call) because I just found out today when you pull the front brake slowly, after the free play, you can feel "jurky" effect...man,another problem! It's like imagine slow motion...eg. you pull in 1mm, stop, then pull in again another 1mm, stop...repeat this a few times...to get the "jurky effect. He said the "something like brake pivoted point" may get rusty...then he lub with engine oil a bit. the feeling got better, but still there sometimes.

I hope I did not cause you guys headache to reply my problems...

hope we share our problems & retify solutions..

still anyone know the "jurky" effect?

Is a slightly hot (very warm) fuel tank a cause for concern? Any known issues?

Left my Custom 4 bike at Causeway Point basement carpark for an hour while we went for dinner. When we returned to the bike, the fuel tank and the handle bar were very warm to the touch.

There was no direct sunshine (duh) and don't think it was from the earlier ride (even the exhaust had cooled down completely). The bike wasn't parked under any vents either.

The bike is brand new, only about 6 days on the road. Mileage at ~320 km. Just had a second petrol top-up (used Shell 98. First time was V Power).

Could it be because of the different types of petrol used?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Need advise from seniors here...

I just found out my rear suspension got sound (piss~~) when you go pass a hump. I did a simple test, you "jump lightly" on your bike, I mean you mount the bike, two legs down, then sit down hard, when bike is press down, a "piss~~" sound came out.

Anyone knows what's wrong? man...so many problem for my 2nd TA200...

I would like to hear from experience riders before I go back to the Yishun motorshop. They may say it's like this or like that blar blar blar...don't wish to get con...still under warranty by them.

That time they changed a used front brake disc due the current had problem.

Kindly give your precious advises, thank you.

Your bike seen to hve allot of problem or your understand is still not there.

Did you happen to meet up with any Knights?

Because you will have a better understanding from them face to face & can compare the current problem.

Double Check your problem is Air Piss or the metal squee. . .

There is nothing wrong to your Fuel Tank & Handle bar, they are just releasing heat, some basement carpk are not very well vetilated so it can be quite warm.

Heat rise up from your engine so it normal.

Dear JJBuBBle,

Please be patience with me please...as I really do not understand yet. Still a long way to know my bikes stuffs. I will like to meet up with you guys, but only after my reservist until 17/Dec/05. So meanwhile I guess I just live with the "piss" sound, hope it will not damage anything.

I think might be the "air-piss" because doesn't sound like metal squeak.

Or any kind people encounter this situation before?

Thanks again JJBuBBle.
