The bolt head size is on the screw itself.

If I remember correctly, its size 12 & size 10

Kena once..

 

Went to mechanic.. Here are the possible reasons

 

1. Never close choke

2. Low-grade 2T

3. Too much 2T

 

And in the end found out,

 

4. Oil seal broke..

 

Got it changed for $40.

its at the left side of the oval shape cover. the wirings are 3 pieces (green black red) in a square connector connected together with it there is also a black (individual) one.

 

Total 4 wires, 3 wire together with another 1 black one.

 

Hope it help. disconnect and the ignition switch will be off but all the light and horn will be gone!

One more qns....before go inspection normally do people send bike for servicing first?

White smoke is relatively common, but overly excess white smoke (like, as in uncontrollably annoying amount) is not okay. Do check to see if it happens ALL the time, even in the day. Of course the smoke tends to look like their amount is more at night. If still susah then go mech to check.

 

And.

When i had my TA150, i used to send to mech before inspection - Koon will help me tune and stuff to make sure i pass the exhaust smoke emmission test - thats my priority. By right if theres nothing wrong, nothing's needed and u'll pass.

helping a fren to sore for ta200 she is looking for new bike but as a new rider and still very young pricing wise will be quite high, do u think it's adviseable to get a ta200 around 7-8k otr. I also like to ask which bike shop give good deal for phantom bike cause i think she plan to get it by this coming well. I did advise her on 2nd hand bike but she prefer to get new one as it's easy for her to keep track

bought my custom 4 in march w/o loans, slightly less than 6K OTR, but COE was cheaper then. i buy in AMK area.

may i know roughly how long ah koon takes to do full service on a bike ?

may i know when is the off peak hours at ah koon?

may i know which day is best to go ah koon with less pk there ?

i went on thursday 1015.. no pk.. but 30min later come other phantom rider..

 

but early morning sure you service you bike by his dad not ah koon.

 

roughly how long? hum... i didn;t wash my carb took me about 30 min..

 

change plug, EO, top up brake fluid, pump air.

I always go on weekdays morning.. For jobs tat require ah koon to do himself, I wld call b4 i go there.. For those minor jobs like change EO, i juz go on weekdays morning..

My TA150 the right fork got oil oil near the join part and like after i ride comes out...whereas the left one is clean....

 

Anything wrong??????

fork seal is leaking. get it replaced

Normal servicing, old ginger still can. But u need to follow wat he's doing as he tends to forget to screw back this n that(never happens to me but from other PKs' experiences).

 

Higher level servicing like carb tuning need new ginger. Overall, new ginger still more skillful. If can, try to get new ginger to do your bike.

i do feel insecure in a way whenever AhLeng (uncle) does the jobs, so most of the time i'll just request for Koon to do up my bike and let the other bikes get their servicing done first. My main concern with his incompetency is the engine tuning (very randomly done) and the EO filling (he tends to fill more than 1.5L).

 

I've never got him to do my TA200, just witnessed his services on other TA200s there before. Of course, its subjective and its just my opinion.

correct way of measuring EO Level?

 

is it just dip or must screw in for the most accurate measure?
