correct way of measuring EO Level?

is it just dip or must screw in for the most accurate measure?

ENGINE OIL

CAUTION:

Engine all Level Check

Check the engine oil level each day before riding the motorcycle.

• Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause serious engine damage.

The level must be maintained between the upper (1) and lower (2) level marks on the dipstick (3).

1. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.

2. Stop the engine and hold the motorcycle in an upright position on firm, level ground.

3. After a few minutes, remove the oil filler cap/dipstick (3), wipe it clean, and reinsert the dipstick without screwing it in. Remove the dipstick. The oil level should be between the upper (1) and lower (2) level marks on the dipstick.

4. If required, add the specified oil (see page 53) up to the upper level mark. Do not overfill.

5. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick. Check for oil leaks.

Tink if kana burn or stolen, insurance will not pay out.

Its just insurance that pays out only if you suffer injuries or disability because of accident. You can be driving, riding a bike, pillion, riding in a taxi, taking bus, walking on the street blah blah blah..

For rates, payouts & coverage, see your friendly insurance agent for more details & a quote. I won't share my insurance plan details in an open forum.

i just change my rear tire 3month ago...

but how come my bike still skie? like when the road is wet(during or after rain) even i on the slow speed.. but when i will to brake and turn into carpark.. my rear wheel is like locked and end up like fish tail weaving...

but the amount i press on my rear brake is like during normal dry condition...

is so easy that my bike skip when the road is wet.. how come?

is it my tire or brake?

even if is the city demon? made from brazil?

i tot they say this tire got good fiction compare to those IRC tire?

so is normal one?

or during raining day use more front brake then rear one?

Posted

It's always better to use more front brakes than the rear brakes. It is because under braking, the weight of the motorcycle will shift to the front and deprive traction of the rear.

Infact it is already easy to break the grip of the rear tire in the dry. In the wet, it is twice as easy. Take an open space and practise the limits of your braking. Try using solely the front brakes at maximum braking, and try using the rear brakes alone. You will come to a conclusion for tires at its braking limits, the rear is quite useless when it comes to stopping power.

On wet roads:

1) Go slower

2) Brake earlier

3) Brake gentler

4) Intermittent braking

5) Use more engine brake

6) Use more front brake

7) Further distance from the car in front

8) X 2 more vigilant
