nope. the oil will break down cos it cannot tahan the high revs(>8Krpm) of the engine of our bike.. cars go to a max of 5Krpm to 6Krpm only. and if i'm not wrong u'll have clutch slippage problems as well if ur using a wet clutch. so dun ever use car EO although i noe its cheaper.

Hi guys,

From the previous postings, I understand that Ta200 got 6 gears.

I have no prob with the riding of my bike but I find that I can't kick up to gear 5 and of coz gear 6 while riding. So I confirmed again while the bike is stationary, (i.e I only on the key but i din on the engine) and find that at gear 4 is the max I could go.

What is the prob?:help:

when stationary, its impossible to kick up to 6th gear..

onli if u push ur bike a bit and kick.. cos ur gear must turn to let it change

to know if ur bike got 6 gears,

ride as normal.. and count if u got kick up 5 times.. if have then ur bike got 6th gear

Humm... it sound like you are a heavy clutch user... it's either you use to do sudden movement with you clutch (throw clutch) or you got cheated by your bike shop to get a cheap-po clutch...

Hope my post above does not offend anyone. If anyone felt offended, pls kindly PM me.

oh ok.. ya.. sometimes i do throw clutch when i'm in a rush.. now i understand.. i brought it original.. got the honda stickers..

anyway still got one qns.. when i ride and abt to stop.. there's this ki kok song coming from my rear wheels.. sounds come more from like the rear disc and the brake calipers.. i tot it was coming from my engine as it sounds like con rod.. anyone hav this prob? the sound is quite obvious when riding and slowing down.. anyone can help or experience this problem before?

what could be the prob when ur clutch cable snaps quite often? like less than half a year snap twice liao..

original clutch cable cost ard $18..use engine oil, gear oil or chain lube to lube the cable b4 use.. so it will last longer..

slowly drip oil from one end till u see oil coming out from the other end..

once week ago when my bike batt out of sudden short and low batt, i push start to get it charged... and i charged up and back to normal...

but just now when i try to E-start the whole bike went "tick-tick" and the batt drain again...

now even worst.. i ride hm and stop half way, off and on again.. it just simply didn;t charge the batt while on the way hm... so is it my batt spoiled?

or?

change ur rectifier.. its not charging ur battery

I would like to ask wat are the likely causes of problem when u can't kick down the gears when u clutch in. For example u are in 6 gear and stopping for a red light. When kicking down gear 6 to gear 5 it stuck, gear 5 to gear 4 also and continue to stuck till gear 1. All of the above I try release to half clutch and clutch in again to down gear also cannot.

I have to kick up the gear softly (like to make it back to the normal point) then I can down another gear. I have no problem kicking up the gear when I am moving

open a bit of throttle and play abit with ur clutch and kick down... and try to stop at traffic light with 3rd gear, so next time easier for u to kick down..

read my earlier post... as its goes the same for kicking gears up and down

ans is yes and no..

yes- if previous owner hardly ride..

no - maybe meter spoilt and changed it 40,000km ago or already 1 round..

to know if it have gone 1 round, check the colour of the 1st digit or wait till u hit 50,000km..

then look at the 5.. if its white, then not 1 round yet..

if its yellowish, then already clock 1 round
