made some bad choices during track today..bike bore the brunt of my errors..now sitting in planet hospital.

unfortunately all i walked away with was a faceful of sand and severe heart/pocket pain. never ever use front brake on sand

dunno if it was a good thing to land on the sand..its soft but scratches plastic and metal like..some iron bristle brush

well what happend? but lucky its on sand? if its on the tarmac i think u more sian. Cause i saw a r6 outside sub court, got lowside marks on the tanks... met the owner and he told me he low slide at PG.. on the tar...

 

then the tank of the bike hor is rly....

 

felt like slapping him for destroying such a nice bike... but oh well.. not me .. so i cannot comment hhahaa

Aiya. Which mech have you ever heard that is gentle with customers' bike? How I wish my mech wears gloves when handling my bike too.. Such bright colours and yet his fingerprints are always all over the bike when he's done.

 

Decals cost me $270 at 219. Will be popping by FM again to patch the fairing on Monday afternoon. Was there to add more power to the bike.. I felt like it was not enough to push thru the corners nicely.

That's why you never see any race queens racing.. Plus, the picture of you really looks like you're posing with the bike, like how racequeens do it.

Yup yup- the workshop introed me to their lawyer and i met up with her yesterday. It'll take quite awhile for the claim to go through.

She commented that there are very few lady riders and only 5% of the clients are female. I corrected her that is actually because very few female buang.

I heard that the tyres are good and also another cbr rider also reccomended them so i decided to go with his advice.

A stock DRZ400SM can only do about 151 KMH down PG back straight.

 

My race DRZ with a few thousand dollars worth of modifications can only do 173 KMH down the same back straight.

 

Like that I should sell my DRZs and get a CBR150 and modify it for racing since a stock CBR150 can do 150 KMH.

 

Can anyone else confirm that a stock CBR150 can do 150 KMH?? Am very interested.

150km/h was clocked at the downward stretch of BKE just after u clear woodlands.

 

umm... but must be without pillion. with pillion around 140.

 

oh yes i got box and "heavy duty" rack maybe thats why slower. if i strip everything, maybe can do 160?

You must use the rear brakes when in sand or gravel... the bike is more controllable.

 

Front brakes can be used but the handlebar must be held firmly in the centre.. any attempts at turning will instantly end up as a lowside.

There is a girl riding a motard and she rides pratically every weekend. She has not buang and she isn't exactly slow coz I know her timing coz I guide her on track sometimes and she can beat quite a few of the guys and she takes the corners very well which is the key to her speed. SunnyBhai and Icecubez have met her during the Saturday nite rides at Tuas.

 

Those who were at the track will know that I kept emphasising on proper and smoothness in lining and braking points... never at any time did I tell anyone to go fast. Fast will come naturally with smoothness through the corners.

wha the gap is so big ah. i ran with my friends camry, his speed was going at about 100 mine 110...

 

and same results on my friends odessy.

Haha.. There is a reason why i use the word "if" & " hve to". In my mind, buang does not always mean fast. Even when riding slow, there are times whereby its better to buang the bike. Right or not?

 

Btw, why do we need to wear so much protection when we gg to track? Isnt it becoz there are more possibility that we gg to buang?

i tink there's one other usage for the spoiler..

even seen those drag +wheelie vids on youtube?

usually there needs to be smth on the rear for the bike to balance on while it travels perpendicular 90degrees to e ground.

 

anyway, max speed i can squeeze outta my bike is only abt 135kmph on our meter. tink it's at max, 120kmph on car speedometers.

 

wish both fallen female cbr riders quick recovery for their bikes!
