Exclusive track riding clinic for 2B riders only.

 

 

Date: Saturday 3 Oct 2009

Time: 8 AM to 10 AM.

Cost: $30 for track fees payable at the track itself.

 

Limited to 10 riders only... that's all I can handle.

 

Safety Gear: Leather suits is optional. Minimum you must have is a full face helmet, gloves, boots or riding shoes that cover your ankles, jeans with knee guards preferred and jackets with armour preferred...its your skin anyway.

 

Coaching is free.

 

What will be taught:

1. Suspension and tyres set up for track riding.

2. Correct posture for corners.

3. Braking, dowshifting and acceleration points.

4. How to read corners and the correct gearing and linings through them.

5. Track rules and discipline.

 

We will walk the track to understand and appreciate the linings through the corners. On track guidance will be given as you ride if you need it. The aim of this session is to make you a safer track rider and how to take corners in the correct way. You will learn the techniques of track riding and how to ride fast... but how fast you go is up to your own ability to learn fast.

 

This is not a race session nor a session to teach you how to race. Its for you to learn about your own riding ability and the handling of your machine.

 

But most of all.. its for have an enjoyable time trying out track riding without all the high speed demons scaring you.

Today i walked down to the carpark, 1st thing i see my cloth on the fuel tank. i thinking someone borrow cos needed to wipe down his bike. Nevermind. Den i look again, something else is missing. Someone stole my P plate. These itchy finger buggers really idiotic one.

 

:cry: i wonder where those ppl get money to buy a bike, where he cant even buy a p-plate. maybe they stole their parents money each day till they can afford to buy a bike. petrol? keep stealing?

 

guess my block is not the only one full of them...

think we need to drill p plates to our bikes.

guy be careful... change your engine oil level.... my bike running with no engine oil ... then got sound... overhaul de ... 300 dollar fly away

 

best is to change engine oil every 2~3k if you want to drag longer remember to change engine oil

Exactly what i was thinking, how they got $ buy vehicle but no $ buy $15 P plate. Cheapskate buggers, I now daydreaming of breaking the fingers of the person who stole it.

 

In the end- i borrowed 1 plate from my colleuge. Her lisence 2 years old already but she still display, she says people would be more forgiving of her mistakes when they see the P plate. Not nice bar if i write on her P plate or tear of the luminous parts. Shall just hope that it lasts for another month.

 

I was initially thinking of taking off the remaining plate at the back then saw SparkerS1, areal and Red_devils post so decided against it.

no need lah. nobody want to steal iu machine 1, coz they cant use it. mine stolen becoz i secure my helmet on the iu machine.

 

the point of this story to learn is never ever secure ur nice + expensive helmet on ur iu machine. else both will be stolen. at least for me $80 helmet is considered expensive alrdy.

erh.. the way ur colleague thinking and the way i thinking is the same ler. i put on p-plate for almost 2years. but i realise 1 thing. those reckless driver driving even more reckless if i (put p-plate on) riding in front of him + slower than him. coz they r impatient by nature.

 

so i guess, the p-plate cant help me much. mirrors + dancing head + 2 eyes open big2 r those most important things when riding otr.

 

btw, did u guys or girls ever being overtaken by a car, from the left, when u r alrdy riding on the center of the most left lane? i had once. it was dxmn scary. not to mention, im following a mini van. i dono y he still want to overtake me. if the road in front of me is clear, i still can understand. u guys think about it. the point to take note is rmbr to check ur mirrors regularly.

if im not mistaken, IU can trace back to vehicle. cos everytime u purchase an IU, vicom has to assign a vehicle number to it.

wah 1 month is so.... not here not there. for me, i peeled off the orange and yellow stickers of the p-plate and stick em onto my bike's head and tail.

 

after 1 year then peel off. hmmm try using cable-tie to secure?

When in doubt just call police....... note model of bike and plate number and who is rider... say suspicious character lookin at bikes. Then after he F off maybe shift your bike somewhere else.
