G'day bros,

My new bike is currently running in and is now at 200 clicks.

Need your expert advise on the different service mileages starting with the first and so on. Information on location for good and professional engine servicing shops is most appreciated. Price is not an option...

Many thanks in advance:)

congrats on yr new ride.

how abt sharing e location of yr home so that we can better advise?

for running in bikes, dont tink there is much of servicing to be done except for engine oil change.

recommended is get the oil replaced after travelling the 1st 1,000km.

but i would say get the oil replaced after 1st 500km due to the amt of metal deposits that will form up as the engine is being run in.

after that, interval for oil change will depend on the type of oil u use.

:goodluck:

p.s. we have a helpful bro who uploaded softcopy of the cbr150 owner manual + parts catalogue in his signature. look for posts by "xbfish" and u will find the weblink.

for simple tasks like changing of engine oil, most shops will be able to do a good job. since budget is not one of yr main concerns, then u can go ahead and visit the shops which are nearby where u stay. :)

The back will always be higher than the front for road riding.

But on the track... its the other way around.

Thanks for the advise. FYI, I'm staying near Joo Chiat.

From the threads I've read and info given from friends, I learned that Planet Motor at Ubi does a very good m/cycle servicing job. I might try to do it there once the odo reaches 500 km.

Anyone with other suggestions on location are welcomed to share...

good for you!

i can only share my own pressure settings. front 220PSI (for 90/80-17), rear 280PSI (for 110/80-17). i hope this helps!

since we're on the topic of tyres, i'd advice everyone to buy a tyre repair kit. very useful if ur tyre gets deflated and ur best option is to push it to a nearby petrol kiosk to seek refuge.

will post a pic tmr morning on what is included in the tyre repair kit.

Everfit has just received spare parts of screws/bolts which are unique to the CBR150 and cannot be bought from the Kelantan lane screw shop.

please download the CBR150 spare parts manual from 'xbfish' siggie and cross reference if you're unsure. do not ask for fish, learn to fish yourself. price a couple of dollars, items while stocks last.

image 2: bolt for lower fairing, near foot rest.

image 3: bolt for front mirrors, 2006 and above.
