hello rider! Am curious if there is any approved exhaust for this bike model and if there is any modification too.

what's with your bike bro?

managed to get yr aftermarket parts from website already?

Suspected shaft bearing or conrod giving way. I'm gonna have to rip the engine apart and get it fixed. Sigh. I was just about to let go of it after I get the cosmetics fixed.

Now cosmetics immaculate, engine decided to give problems. Looks like the bike doesn't want to let go of me. Hehh.

hmm..agree w/ the part on fuel efficiency and relatively ok pickup. but top speed wise, i think cbr150 is abt average? matches that of kups.

hello guys..sorry missed out on the gathering for cbr150 riders, cause was away for Ops over @ NZ, recently just came back...anyway few days back was doing full service at ahboy(ah gua lane) and dound out that my piston is crack and need to rebo my block, so i did and now my bike is with me and was told that bike is on running in condition for at least 800km, and when i ride back my bike to sg, realised that the temp meter was staying at half and at times is ride it will get hotter and hotter and the needle will surpass the half mark...

hope majority of what they used are original honda parts~

cant quite imagine how a cracked piston looks like.

:giddy:

my temp can go up till 3/4 on a hot day. just make sure it doesnt cross the 3/4 mark cause the radiator fan is supposed kick in by then & keep the temp below 3/4.

go have a peek at the radiator coolant reservoir to make sure u dont run dry on coolant~

its not the entire piston is crack, its the piston ring that is crack...and before i do my full service, the temp gauge doesnt even reach half mark, only now it happened...and whenever i turn the bike on without pressing the ignition, theres like a fan sound coming from beneath it, before full service, never encounter this situation...for the coolant part, i will check...

our bike got fan??? :confused::confused::confused:

Ride so long still dono... :p

yes there is at the radiator there...

strange. fan not supposed to be on before the 3/4 mark is reached leh. maybe they bypass the temp sensor and have the fan always on?

ride the bike naked 8hours each day. temp needle never touch 1/3, mostly 1/4. almost 80k km, bike still going strong. only thing bothering me is the chain, coz i use no ring chain, so i need to adjust it every 2 weeks. :troublesome:

think yr chain reaching end of lifespan lah bro.

heavy duty (no ring) chain cant be that bad~

i'm contemplating trying out a normal heavy duty chain to see if it can get rid of the loud chain rattling sound.
