Thks for ur reply bro.

Bro juz wondering, what does the fag bearings include?and hw much and hw much to install them and do an engine overhaul(as in juz change the conrod, conrod piston bearing, piston n piston ring?) at AGL? Thx!

Bearings from FAG-Germany would cost you around SGD 90, there is also a special size bearing from NTN-Japan for your crankcase that would cost you another SGD 40. All this bearings are made from either Germany, Korea or Japan and not the cheap products from China and Taiwan.

Conrod for CBR-150R is not sold separately it comes in 1 set that would cost you around SGD300 if I am not wrong. Piston and piston ring would be around SGD100(Original and not local)

there can be different reasons why the battery is flat/low.

if it's purely because the battery is reaching end of lifespan, then fair and square.

but if it's because the charging system isn't working well, then this new battery is just going to end up dead sooner or later. i.e. what you've got is only a temporary fix.

so please make sure that the shop does the necessary checks on the charging system as well k.

IMHO, it seems a bit coincidental that the battery has to spoil along when you encountered the engine dying off issue.

and it seems that even after the new battery change, the engine dying issue is still not completely resolved.

leads me to question if the battery is the really the cause/part of the cause.

This is most probably due to your carb. CBR 150R carb has a rubber diaphragm compared to other model of bikes, try getting your mech to check the rubber diaphragm, or the needles in the carb. I personally experience similar problem but after a general service where my carb is cleaned it stop giving me the problems

nice. didn't know that Hou Heng has got stocks available for that many parts for our bike.

some of the stuff like rubber bushing for rear wheel hub were not available like 2-3yrs back.

I bought some parts myself. Would be glad to get the stock parts for you……

Hi,

Got my wielding done at 27 Jurong Port road 01-19. They need like half to one full day (park morning, collect evening) to get the job done depending on condition. The price is reasonable than compared to my case - to get a $200 replacement for the hose.

pls share where u managed to get the welding/patching done~

it seems like the extractor (the black color portion of the exhaust pipe that runs from underneath engine to passenger footrest area) keeps getting rusty.

i bought an exhaust wrap to wrap up the portion to make it look more decent. but i know that his probably doesn't reduce the fact that it will still get rusty underneath.

maybe one day my extractor will break into 2 also

:cheeky:

nice~
