Which Hand Phone Are You Using Now?

Hi Everyone,

some of my frens and I are participating in a start-up singapore competition.

Participating in setting up a Nokia shop in campus.

Just want to do a survey of the people what BRAND of phone you are using.

 

After polling, I would appreciate if you can add on to post additional information (not compulsory but recommended) like:

Has a simple camera, better resolution than Nokia has to offer for free/budget phones at that time, wanted to try something non-Nokia for a while.

$65 for the Prism PDA, $50 for the VisorPhone module

First PDA smartphone of its kind. Cheap, simple yet fulfills all my geeky needs. Unfortunately the module battery malfunctioned recently. So gotta wait for a replacement battery from eBay. Using it as a normal PDA presently.

For the price, around $100 after my $100 voucher.

Style ? Well It's more towards special or odd 1 out. Either way. Needs something outstanding.

Function ? Same as 6600, or should I say almost the same. Radio, MP3 Player, IrDA, BT, can be intergrated as a GPS reciever ( which I'll be trying soon )

Brand name ? All along Siemens wasn't really considered 1 of the phone makers that a Student would choose, since Secondary till now I would say. So it's not the name, it's the one of a kind thing that attracts me to this phone.

 

Yes I'm a student.

I'm not pinning much on Nokia phone now, more towards Motorola, SE and Siemens phone.

looks like nokia still has the big mkt share here. perhaps it's the simplicity of the user functions. would still like to go bk to nokia if they start designing nicer phones.

 

am using samsung d500c. so far so good and functions r quite similiar to nokia and sound n resolution wise, it's much better...

 

hmmm might stick to a samsung after all.

i do agree with u . the nokia is much "user friendly" than other brand i tried using before. samsung have good high end TFT display. but i do find it not so "user friendly" on tis model 715 ... esp. when msgin... gee..1 interuption..whole msg retype again.

has better specs than the N96, and cheaper.

 

8MP camera with face/smile detection for the freaking win!

 

8GB integrated memory with space for a 16GB memory card for a total of 24GB. how many hours of 3gp porn is that worth?

 

Symbian S60 3rd edition OS, and GPS and WIFI capabilities.

 

its relatively new, though. the operating system was prone to some slowdowns, according to my sis, who got one.

 

for me, I am using an LG KU250 "3G for all" phone.

 

its cheap, for a phone that has 3g capabilities. dont like the security functions of the phone though. bloody irritating.

 

what other phone can you purchase for $200, without plan, brand new, and has 3G capabilities? its small, light and simple. the way i like it. plus it has rubber keys, perfect for my stumpy fingers.
