Hi guys,

Does anyone of you here own a Hyosung Aquila GV250 chopper?

Saw a few on the road and it looks quite nice. Anyone have any comment on this bike cos my brother might be deciding to get a new one.

1) Is this bike a problematic one and what is the common problem?

2) Is it hard to get the spareparts and is it ex?

3) How is the mileage?

Hope someone can help to answer my brother's doubt.

Thanks!

juz tested one from a seller, powerful bike for a 250, its more powerful then shadow that i tried some time ago..

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

Never own this bike but my frz's uncle is selling this brand bikes as sole distributor.

So far from some reviews, the bike is almost problematic free. Spare parts wise like I mentioned is available easily since there is a distributor here in Spore. Mileage wise, is around 350km from the official website.

You mean you compare this Hyosung250 with Honda Shawdow400???

If compare this Hyosung GV250 with Shawdow 125, from wat i think definately win in term of power due to different engine capacity.

There are so many variety of Shadow from 125cc to 1500cc thus I guess he could have meant the 125cc version.

sorry, i meant a shadow 400 ACE, tested a FT plater, but the response is not as good as the GV250..

Maybe i'm biased but, u won't go wrong with the Shadow.

If ever intend to tour, the Shadow is proven to be competent in this dept. Probably will also have better resale value that the Hyosiong.

I have seen the Aquila 250 on the road, .....and well..... to each his own i guess. The proportions of the bike don't quite right (IMO only).

Me? I'd choose the Shadow, anyday of the week, and twice on Sunday. :-)

Ultimately, I hope u make a decision that you're happy with.

I am a owner of the Aquila 250. I love the design when i saw the bike. I am very proud when i rode round singapore, cos everyone start asking how big is the engine capacity. The power of this bike is great. I have been riding it for 3 yrs already. The power is better than any 2A chopper.. Cruise around 100 to 120km/h is a breeze.

I am letting go of my Aquila 250 cos my company buy a van and let me drive home.

Moreover, got no time ride bike already cos work till very late.

FT-plate, oni 23k+ km. Just serviced. tyres used for oni 6 months. Battery jus changed 3 months. I m selling for $4k. I bought it for $8k plus. Hope to find someone to contiune to care for my beloved bike. PM me if you are interested.
