hello guys..

 

i applied for mac delivery yest and i got the job.

But now im feeling scared.. Scared the guys there will say "wahlau this girl so slow with orders"

Im starting work this Sunday at serangoon ave 3 9am to 6pm.

Die die die. Im so blur with roads. And i heard sunday is a busy day...

 

Any tips on how not to feel so scared and blur with roads?

Hahah! Currently working at both SRA3 and AMA4. hmm, niche is totally not organize. I mean, work here la, work there la. Extend here la, go this and that outlet la. I feel as though I'm a pingpong ball bring kicked around. Totally hate it la.. But working as a rider is a great experience. Lol

 

i tink maybe coz down rider thats why kena kick here n there.

aeh syz, hows werk? fun liao ar? advantageous rite, sometimes can get extra tips juz coz ure a female. kekeke ~

 

tat day, i send order, never take out helmet, got this nyonya come ask me,

"are you a butch or a lady?"

oh wells, just smile and pretend that conversation never existed haha

nahh.. I don't think getting tips is about gender. Some people are just kind hearted while others are just hmmm(don't wanna say anything).

 

One bad experience on my 2nd day was, I've given the cust food and now for the change. I calculated wrongly and accidentally gave her a short of $1. freaking $1. so head back hub, reach hub manager told me that I gave the wrong change to the previous cust and it ha a short of $1. and because of that lady, I have to go down all the way to her unit to pass her the FREAKING $1..

 

That was a bad exp. I got really mad about that but, I know I shouldn't cause it was my mistake for giving the wrong change. Lol

So unreasonable la people sometimes, what to do. Next time count in front of the customer to avoid mistakes.

yup.. tips is all depending on customer lah.. anyway, it doesnt hurt for us riders to actually smile when greeting the customers.. increase the chances of getting tip.. i have 1 experience to share..

 

ths guy from a condo ordered and said to expedite the order.. i reached his condo within 10 minutes.. pressed the doorbell and waited.. no one.. pressed again and knocked on the door.. no one... then i called his hp and when he answered, he said he is otw back, reaching in 2 minutes.. and from the sound of his background, he was driving..

 

dammit! wat to do.. i waited lah.. and waited.. and waited.. for 10 minutes.. then he called my hp and said to meet him at carpark.. i went down and when i met him in his porsche convertible, i forced myself to smile... he asked how much total and i told him its $10.25... then he gave me a $20 and said the magical words "keep the change".. my forced smile became a genuine smile

 

wait 10 mins and get $9++ tips... cool or wat..

$13+.. dats for helping a customer buy a pack of ciggys.. haha.. he gave $25 and told me to keep the change.. esso was abt 100m away frm his house.. lazy rich bugger lah..

i'm in the wrong section coz i aint a macrider..

but !

i wanna share ... coz tat time was my blurrest moment.

reached customer's condo and delivered to the pool area.

th angmohs were hot laa, both guys and ladies ...

the turn off part was, they started to fight over the size of the pizza. was kinda stunned. then one of their parents i think, gave me $90, and keep the change. order was around $70+ i think. hehe ... so got free show and incentives ! kekeke ...

 

got good and bad laa. got one time i kena scold rabak from customer coz i didnt have change.

 

anyway, fr you guys, all you need to do is just send orders issit ? nothing to be done in the kitchen, help out or anything?

ANd neighbourhood 20bux from a grandma ... coz she everytime order i will send...

now then you know. to be ping ponged is actually good la. better than some people who never even get what they wanted. some people ask for 7 days and will get all 7 days and some people ask for 7 days but will only get 3 or 4 days.

mine will be $13+ also. but story was cool! cos i go to this condo to send an order of around $10+. the ang moh boy gave me $50 note but i only have small change of $26+ and a $50 note change with me cos got another order to send also. i requested for exact change from him lor. but he don't have so he just asked me for the $26 and say the magic word, "keep the change then." and this boy is soo much younger than me! i wonder how he do his maths. food is worth $10+ but tips worth $13+.

lol jk jk..... there ok lar but some riders don't like the RM there. The RM only allows one order per trip.
