U mean stiften the SHOWA damper?

i mean the one connected to the swing arm. thats a showa unit?

short of changing your springs, all you can do is play around with the damping. i personally wouldn increase spring preload for fear of bottoming out, but thats just me and i'm no suspension expert.

if its the seat that feels bouncy, i'd play with the rear. if its a rocking back and forth motion, i'd play with the front. and i'd start with rebound by increasing a little and see how it feels. i adjusted my suspension settings myself soon after buying and i think it handles better from stock.

but again, i'm no suspension expert, i'm suggesting this only coz its the only thing you can do yourself, short of sending it to a suspension tuning specialist or changing the springs.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

er sry i need help should i do normal run in or break in? pls help thanks

Hmmm... Can't really give advice on that....

But so far, wat i heard after asking around is, that the normal run in will help to extend the wear and tear of the bike...

But for hard break in, it will push the bike performance better....

So, both has the good and bad points... End of the day, its all up to u to decide... Anyway, i'm still doing the normal run-in for my bike...

brO...which shop would u recommend?

:)

You shud do valve clearance bro... then when the mech open the top case he shud be able to tell whether your timing chain needs to be changed anot.

For brake pump, its normal to do a servicing every yr...

Coolant and engine oil i not so sure though....

But seriously, for the engine oil, do u think its better to change very 5000km or just follow the manual?? Gif me ur opinion leh... N coolant, how to check everytime man?? Muz take out fairings leh...

Funny manual... But anyway, thx for the info...

Guys pls gimme ur opinion regarding the engine oil change period...

hm.......

how much will vlv clearance roughly cost?

Depends actually on what else you need to change, timing chain, etc.. Normally will cost you about $100 - 200++ if you're just doing valve clearance alone. K&T actually gave me the highest quotation when I asked them once, dats y I would personally rather encourage you to go to Motor Factor which is directly behind & they do an equally good job or Bikewerks at K.B. No offence to K&T supporters, ok... Just saying what I personally feel.

To be good at E-braking you got to trust the brakes and yourself...that is how I over come my fear of E-braking...
