Some do claim that dyno run in is better and increase the horsepower...

 

Some claim that doing the normal break in will help to decrease the wear and tear...

 

So its really up to u to decide which way u wanna go...

 

mine i downpayment $4k, monthly $297 x 5 yrs, a lil expensive actually... im 21 btw...

i dun mind paying monthly a lil bit more, as long as the shop is honest & dont nid to throw in 1 lum sum of money to trade in ur bike..

 

Urs considered quite good liao.... My dumb bikeshop... I down 3.7k including number retention fees... N still have to pay 320 per month for 5yrs...

 

N the most fuk up part is that if i wanna do early settlement, i still have to pay extra 800.... WTF... That time i was a bit rash, nv think too much... Now when i think about it, i a bit regret buyin from that shop...

if you have difficulty at the bumpy course, just roll through it steadily, no need to blip throttle la brake la, etc. for not meeting the timing, you get what? 2 points? you fall within the bumpy course = immediate failure. i did well in the bumpy course during my practical but during the test date, i didn't want to take any chances, just went through it slowly (just like plank, slow but don't stop, don't be a hero) and i passed with 16 points

dyno run is faster but better or not, i don't know.

i prefer to run in the bike myself slowly and cycle through the rev range without overstressing the engine. once the run in mileage is nearly complete, i start revving to higher rpms but all with smooth throttle action. most importantly, don't stay within 1 rpm for too long like highway cruising. vary the rpms and be patient, that's the old fashioned way of running in bikes which was what i did.

 

don't forget to change out the oil often during run in. i changed mine at 200, 500, 800 with oil filter and ~1000km. switched to semi synth around 2000km with oil filter then fully synth at ~2500km, this is my own stupid idea la ..

 

there are many other ways and methods of runnin in that claim to increase top hp but i'm a cynic so i do things safe safe kiasi one.. right or wrong, i don't care, it's my bike, i do whatever i like lor.

found out tat stock cbr6 suspension settings sucks big time...both front n back...pls advise where best to get it rectified...???

 

adjust urself lor, the manual got pics and intructions mah.. i only know how to follow the book and set to stock, don't know how to adjust for ride conditions.. can ask doc dol, msf or crumbs, they all track junkie, sure expert one...

Hoi.. The stock CBR600RR suspension setting is good lah.. Can do 1:42 with the stock setting lah.. Onli thing is u r too big n heavy.. hahaha.. BARNEY on a CBR600RR?? Of coz must make changes to the suspension lah.. U just need a heavier spring for your BARNEY weight.. Check with Joe Sporting Motor if he got from Ohlins.. For now u can adjust the preload to maximum hard.. Remember to adjust both the front and rear preload to maximum hard.. U can also increase(plus) the compression n rebound by 3 clicks each for both front n rear rebound n copmpression.. I think this might help to offset ur BARNEY weight..

oh.. he quoted me S$18000 for a parallel import bike and S$18500 for a boon siew bike... i took the boon siew one. i downed 3k.
