hi gtr bros

anybody change the rear bulb situated on top of licence plate to red?where to get a piece?cheers.

eh...i think that bulb you cannot suka suka change color lei. Anything around the number plate is sorta untouchable. The reason is the authorities do not want owner to muffle the plate number up. In case people cannot recognise the plate number to report any offences commited.

I have driver friends who were told to change and go for inspection the next day. They have purple, red and green. But they were stopped for other offences such as hid lights first before the ROV mentioned about the number plate light.

Unfortunately nobody wants to cover insurance for beyond Thailand. Customs clearance as per normal, don't think you need a visa.

actually, there are a few travel insurance policies out now that specifically covers motorcycling in thailand as an option.

but this is personal cover not property, but I guess, will come in handy should you need things like heli eva, at the end of the day life is more impt :)

Thanks for the invite but I don't think I'll be able to make it.. Taking 9 days to chill for the upcoming 3NCR.. Don't think I'll be able to go on leave that soon in November.

On another note, I need some ideas though..

I'm in the midst of planning for a charity ride.. This charity ride will be different.. Smaller group of bikers, most likely bikes are all from different brands.. The ride will feature the different values of participants & the aim to achieve a set of vision & purpose.. Destinations to achieve are as follows - Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, (Bangkok), Saigon, Yangon.. Each of the selected destinations carry a brand which the participants have to touch.. Getting the media to cover a video footage on this one plus some sponsors.. My questions are as follows:

1) Which route should the ride take? I'm a little lost after the Bangkok portion where the participants need to touch Saigon & Yangon.

2) How long do you think this ride should take? Total mileage is more than 6,000km.

3) Are there any permits that are involved?

4) What's the ideal group size? If we take one bike from each brand that'll be about 9 - 12 bikes (if we're talking about bigger brands: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Yamaha)

This is an initial stage of planning, any ideas out of the box will be helpful..

:p

Ohayo - Ducati - Multistrada 2011 lei.

Aniway i doubt i can use the strada for trip in time lei. When i collect the bike in dec 2011, i still need to run in the bike. By the time i finished, probably 2012 already.

Lets do one on class 2b bike ma. I am in the middle of mod my X1R for the trip..

I put 2010 on purpose so that you can join the trip. :)

I tried searching the forum for exhaust heat wraps with little success. Can direct me to where to purchase it and get it installed?

bro, the guy Theyiqin removed the thread already. Maybe you can pm him and see whether he has any stock left. If not you can actually do it at tachyon motor. They bring in exhaust wrap as well.

How how? 2011 GT trip confirmed???
