Just dropped by Lim Battery earlier today.. Finally got the LED spotlights (those that looked like the Denelli's) & a pair of LED daylights.. Michael from the shop assisted.. Got a discount too.. Can't wait to get them on & shine the traffic away..

Have to figure out the wiring digram on the Stelvio first.. Looks kinda confusing to wire it to the stock fog light switch.. Hm... Tested the lights at Lim's.. Man, it's bright.. Have 3 different modes as well.. You want a pair for your X1?

The spotlights cost $130 each & the LED is at $70 before discount.. On discount, it's in the region of 10% - 15% depending on how they like you.. I'll probably be mounting them at the inner fairing.. As for the spotlights, they'll most likely be sitting on the engine guard..

Pre 09 models had panniers detaching from the catch going over bumps... From 09 onwards they already address the issue.

 

Usually I will not put any important or haevy stuffs in the panniers.. just in case it pop out during a ride...

Just got the LED "Daneli" spotlights up & running.. Fabricated a hidden bracket at Seng Kwang & DIY the wiring, fuse, switch & lights myself.. Woohoo..

 

Got them installed under the front headlight cowl.. The lights are adjustable sideways, upwards & downwards.. Quite versatile.. Will be trying the effects later tonight..

Something really hilarious happened earlier.. I was on CTE on the way home.. During the first stretch, a lot of cars in front gave way to me.. I was thinking, does the Stelvio look so much like a TP bike? Mm.. Then I looked towards the left & realised how bright the road signs were.. That's strange.. Passed the ERP gantry & saw the "ERP" words glowing on top of the structure.. Then only I realised.. Shootz.. I haven't adjusted the angle of my spotlights.. The pair was shooting skywards.. Hahaha.. I must be blinding everyone on the CTE earlier..
