hmm..you mentioned that it was black after 4000km change? I do not know how long will the shaft oil turned color after new oil change. Mine was always black when i changed both my engine and shaft oil between 5000-8000.

Yup mine too.. Its usually black, well lighter black actually. For me i usually change between 8500-10000km. Sometimes up to 11000 after dragging it a little bit. Even few of my buddies riding FJR and GTR as well has the same color each time they changed it. Well, im the curious one cos during my first oil change i was real curious at what color the shaft oil was. First time riding a shaft bike mah.. Indeed, its a lighter shade of black.

Maybe the the others can share their experience perhaps? Its a good learning process..

i change every 10000 km..

nv see wat the color..

anyway, i find changing EO at 5000 km too short..

is there any way to lengthen the mileage to 10 000 km per EO change?

i know cars service at 10 000 to 15 000 km right?

also 4 liters mahz.. right?

Hmmm...cant really do comparison between car and bike. IMO Bike has more power, more torque and usually abused by riders. Normally we travelled on terribly high speed at high rpm. Hence engine oil breaks down quicker than cars. On the other hand, car usually dont travel at 200km/h and above constantly too. But we do.

I changed the engine oil depending on my usage and the type of riding style. For example, during the first 3000km after oil change, if i whacked the bike and travel long distances in a day. Such as malacca trip, cameron trips, mersing trips etc. Or phuket trip. I make sure i changed the engine oil at 5000km. If its once a blue moon clear carbon riding, my max engine oil change is 8000km.

No..X1R is 16.5CP. The other one is 165HP lo.

My Thai friend was telling me that the X1R in Thailand can hit 160km/h without any problem with stage 2 mod. Mods include Ohlins front and rear, bigger headers for your exhaust, exhaust etc etc...... for the cost of

B$10000

Bro, can be done de. Singapore got the modded that can hit 160-180km/h. I even heard there is one 200km/h one. However my aim is to turn it into touring version with just enough power to overtake and relac.

CP = Chicken Power? Never heard of engines measured in chicken power before.. Haha..

HAPPY DEEPAVALI to all!

Mine is cow power. Because it will moo moo moo moo...then move ah. Like waiting for the cow to come home lo...

1 cow power = how many horsepower? 1.5? What's a cow's torque like?

1 cow power = 0.5 horsepower. Its not too difficult to imagine how would a cow's torque be. Have you seen how a cow move in the padi field? hahahahahahaha
