everyone knows that the driving centres require learner riders to wear gloves.

but how many of you actually wear gloves to ride after passing your practical exams?

Don't mess with old farts. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

Its my minimum protection gear....wear it all times unless going really short distances.....like when going to park my bike when the parking auntie come :cheeky:

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Have seen with my own eyes during my recent ride to Phuket Bike Week, One Phantom rider from Penang never wear during the ride, fell and ouch......painful man. We need our hands to ride, clutching in, braking controlling the bike...first priority hands i would say!!!:thumb:

seriously...what kind of protection the gloves offer if we *touch wood* fall?

if our hand is going to break, it will prevent scratches at the most...

or is it more for the grip?

A lot.

Of course, that depends on what kind of gloves you wear. If you wear durian gloves, not much.

If you're wearing the Icon Timax with 13 titanium plates that's a whole different thing.

And if you only concentreate on break, you've obviously never felt the feeling of having half of your palm's skin stripped off..... It is far, far more painful than a clean bone break.

Can you imagine falling without gloves and your knuckles got hit? Can you imagine seeing the bones? Or even if you fall on your palm, with all the blood or the lack of skin thus causing pain, can you imagine yourself continue riding with that pair of hands straight after you fall? You'll need them to ride yourself home or clinic if it's not that serious. And with that injury, how you wash hands, eat or brush teeth? Maybe wipe backside also hard.. LOL :cheeky:

And yes, its for grip also...
