hi guys just wondering if anywhere would care to share a good workshop to do up a complete overhaul for a c70? kinda frustrated through my experience of having unreliable and unprofessional mechanics tell you that certain parts were done up only to have your bike seize up on the highway..can pm me if you not keen to share on this forum,thanks alot in advance!

 

 

Yup. i did a total overhaul and restoration on my C70 at Sin Boon Motors. i personally think they are good. they might be a little on the expensive side at times but i seriously think its worth it. after doing up my C70 there, i then introduced the shop to the rest of the guys here. so far so good. if you need their number here it is. 6257-8404. hope this helps!

Now still in shop, collecting on Saturday, appearance not much to talk about but I want to send it for respray.

where is the shop that you bought your cub?

i didn't get from a shop, got from some dude..

 

Tested the bike, engine response quite good, according to him he had overhauled not too long ago, original honda carb from japan. Says the ex owner la but I didn't feel anything wrong with it so yeah, he probably took good care of the internal bit.

 

Now I'm just thinking if i should do what you did, change it to the rounded or leave it as it is. Probably leaving it?

wa damn swee!! haha. wat plate is it? i seriously think you should just leave it original. i think its better la. just pimp it up a little. if you need help, let me know. i'll help you out dude! welcome to the family! haha. now got kaki to go riding around with!!!

I might just call you very soon for the spray paint and what nots, I want to change the leg shield though, mine quite.. roughed out. Do you know where I can get? Chia Heng? Hamilton? Hmm.. Haha yes we can go jln kayu and relax soon!

at the side of the carb got this knob... you adjust dat knob.... DONT ADJUST THE ONE WIF THE MINUS SCREW!!
