anyone install the voltmeter on C70?

 

i am running on the 12V electrical system (EX5).

the reading was excessive with high speed riding o_O

 

idling=12.5V

top gear at 60km/h=15.5V

top gear at 70km/h=16.0V

the oil cooler was ordered for northern Malaysia.

RM160+-(cheapest just RM80+- but China parts)

 

clear on stock meter with 14/33 sprocket.

(but i still look for the best combination due to over-rev.....)

Cool. how does the oil-cooler helps?

Anyways, i upgraded to ex5 parts, i still cant clear the stock meter. Maybe max i can go is 90km/h (over-rev)

Any tips?

i think the oil cooler just able to extend the full throttle duration.

:)

 

i am using the lightening EX5 Magneto also.

"chiong" EX5 CDi

14/33 sprocket 428 X-ring chain.

 

feel no safe if i expose all my mods.

problem solve, rectifier replaced.

theres alot of things at play...

you must know wat youre changing...

 

for mine...

 

Ex5 racing block (bore max)

Ts125 Carb

Chiong CDI

exhaust header change bigger

Sprocket front 15 , back 30

Gear change to 4

yah mine is open Pod meaning no Airbox at all

 

after all this ,... my bike top speed was 120km/h going 130

 

and my weight is 80kg....

 

starting off of cos jialat cos of the sprocket sizing....

 

and mine is not full hardcore mod

oh yeah, they mech offered me a chiong cdi and carburettor, but i decline coz in the first place i wanted to mod for the long dist travelling to jurong island. but now it getting addictive, wanna go faster and faster...haha!

i recommend you get the carb and cdi

 

then do long dist settings.....

 

i was cruising at 90-95 and tops at 120...

so jus try...la

my manifold is facing sideways...so my carb is sticking out of the fairings from sideways....

i dont have a fix shop lah bro... actually many places can do ... yo just need to get the stuffs at cheap prices so you dont feel the pinch.

the carb so far market price is ard 150Rm and the cdi it varies.... got from 200rm to 50rm....

be prepare for worst case :sweat:

1.high FC

2.high wear and tear (applicable for "open pod" carb)

3.unable ride on raining (applicable for "open pod" carb)

4.unable park under raining (applicable for "open pod" carb)

5.TP spotted? (not sure :cheeky:)

question on conversion to EX5 clutch system.....

 

the engine clutch cover will be change after the conversion, it will look like changed engine......(engine serial remain)

is there any problem with the inspection?

they only change the right engine case . The serial number is on the left engine case so theys no problem with inspection
