HEY GUYS!!! THE CONVOY IS POSTPONED! are u aware of it? I went to the webby & saw the following...

 

Dear Bikers,

 

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your support for the upcoming Singapore Big Bike Fest 2006! To date we have over 1000 registered bikers for the Bike Convoy!

 

However, it is with much regret that we have to postpone the BIG BIKE CONVOY to a later date due to the security concerns with regards to the IMF. We, the organizers are committed to make this happen and have already begun talks with the sponsors to put this together with possibly the help of Traffic Police.

 

As such, please stay tuned for the SINGAPORE’S BIGGEST BIKE CONVOY coming soon in October 2006!

 

We would still honor the discounted rate of $20 for the Rally Pack. Please bring your registration forms on 16th-17th September, Singapore Big Bike Fest 2006 event to enjoy this offer. The goodies in the rally pack have increased significantly, valued over $50/-!

 

There will still be Bike Parking at our event venue (CLARKE QUAY) if you are participating in the BEST BIKE CONTEST. So if you think you would like to show off your bike and try to win the honor of BEST BIKE, please let the parking marshals know. (limited to the 1st 150 bikes).

hey guys

nowadays my x1 keep encountering backfire when i close throttle and let the bike engine brake and roll

i believe could be the A/F mixture too lean

anyone can point out where can i find the screw to tune the mixture abit richer?

just serviced my bike just now... but it got worse... anyone can help?

just called a bike shop... they quote me 3.6k machine price for a brand new X1...

 

so i figured with COE added in.. its around 4.5k... plus minus 100...

 

considered expensive ?

seriously..if i could pay $3.6K (full cash) for a new X1 OTR 1 year ago..it doesnt make sense to me for you to get the x1 at $3.6K somemore it's machine price only :giddy:

i think for x1 the backfiring is unintentional 1

mine will sometimes backfire when i close throttle at high speed

13th Feb 2004 - Class 3

heard from 1 shop in queensway, he say maybe the air suction spoil(i dunno what is it called). change the thing cost about 65 dollar.

found a slightly better deal for 4.2k OTR...

 

will still scout around.. now that you all replied.. roughly know the price le.. hahah...

 

anyway... i dont have any friends who own this bike...

 

can someone who live woodlands kindly allow me to test drive your bike? :D

 

i mean... not drive and go lah.. probably go for coffee? my treat? =P
