hahaha.. hey maybe u should service 1st.. then see if it vibrates.. coz frm what i heard x1 sure vibrate coz its light? damper coz few hundreds i guess.. normally for big bikes.. have seen spark use it.. then a long metal rod will come out frm ur fairing

You jus got ur bike, Do a full overall service first and slowly check where ur virbrates came from!

Just got an X1 today, it vibrates hard when running at 70-80km/hr. Is there any parts i can install to damped the vibration?

 

find another X-1 to ride and test before you confirm the vibrations on your bike isnt normal...

ya cos usually x1 vibrate at 70-80, throttle abit more about 90km/h should feel lesser of the vibration. get another x1 and try to compare the vibration feeling.

hm..i always thought that the damper supposed to be for reducing unnecessary movement of handle steering bar to prevent tankslap etc.

 

if the engine is vibrating too hard.

isnt it logical to locate and rectify the source of the problem rather than getting add-ons to reduce the effects of the problem?
