only kept extra plug at home

 

brand = NGK

model = forgot (simply asked for sparkplug for X1 frm LAB then they gimme)

price = $2

 

change plug once every 2 engine oil change (ard 6000KM)

eh.. my bike alrady 5300clicks ... engine oil changed once .. during about 2000++ click ... spark plugs changed once also..

 

where to change engine oil and sparkplugs ah...? cheap cheap one...

 

also i need to do service or not?

yup..normal sparkplugs dont cost much

especially plugs for smaller bikes like cubs...the size of the plug is a little smaller than the plug i bought for KRR

so plug for cub = $2

plug for KRR = $3

LAB? HKL?

these places offer lower prices but i guess there's longer waiting time for mechanic to start work on yr bike

 

additional servicing i guess its still not necessary yet bah...

mine 10000+KM already...havent done other servicing except for changing engine oil and sparkplug

 

i did check w/ my mech in JB see if there's a need for cubs like X1 to do stuff like full service etc on regular basis...

his response was smth like: wait till got problem already then service

i duno whether to be happy or not happy w/ his answer siah :cheeky:

I wanna pump my X1 original tyres. May I know wat is the air pressure for the front and rear tyres ?

on the original tyres(IRC), it stated 33psi front and rear.

 

i myself pump 33psi front and 36psi rear.

bout wat he said is partly true..cos if ur block got scratches or sway sway ur piston jam..its better to go for bigger piston.. as its not worth to stick to standard size..

 

but as a part of that u shoulc constantly chekc onur E.O n spark plugs.. or any strange noise from ur bike..

prices in JB abt the same as SG

i always go for Caltex semi-synthetic oil which cost me abt RM$26 and plug RM$6 then i would bargain till RM$30

if change in Spore i guess the price is abt same...if not cheaper

Any kind soul could give me a guideline for 2nd hand mrk price

elo guys..yesterday while i was riding @ AYE(i was ridin fast coz gots to urgently send stuff to Jurong)... i saw tis gerl x-1 rider(white..F?10?)...-"?" cos i 4got e plate no..watever it is, her bike is so fast siak..i 'm like whoa!!...soooo fast !!played a lil catch up though...nywy,juz to say CHEERS!!! to the gerl riders..thought onli guys like to play chase...i guess gerls now do...hehe...live it up x-1 riders...

Be a safety rider,

keep left always;

but once opportunity comes to race,

keep focus sit tight n turn the trottle...

 

let the race begins..

elo guys, x-1 is recommended to use yamalube..is ny1 using it?n wats its performance above other brands..personally, i think its better than shell advance(i always go service @ yamaha agent n they use shell advance,i think so)..

Next Owner will get back original parts as well... changed them since day 0 ...so all brand new.
