i was about to mention but you said it already ...

this in one way help to stop those ugly scratches from the heels i hope ... *when the pad has been put in between the lock and the pipe* ...

1 more thing ...

remember to oil it proper ...

the joints , the key insert area ...

if not ...

another problem to remove it ...

a good thing is that when that happen a safe mind to us that people can't take it ...

NOT EVEN THE OWNER itself ...

haha..:cheeky: got to call locksmith then.. provide they got time to help.. :sian:

bro if the joints and the key hole area is full of rust ...

i doubt the locksmith will do any good ...

with such type of lock the grinder will be the solution ...

so .. better to oil it than not ...

when you grind the sparks create cause other areas to be unpretty ...

actually there is really no way to secure. wadever secure bolt, star nut, moon nut and wadsoever can be open too.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.

The thief c this :faint: liao still got time to remove footrest :cheeky:
why not. removing the whole foot rest is much faster than the lock.

security bolts & alarms r mostly deterant. if any adamant thieve want to steal, they will still get e job done. i think e best is still to weld it but inconvenient if u want to remove e pipe....haha otherwise e hugh padlock! this is new, not seen anyone doing tat juz yet til now

wow !!! 1st timei see like tat... hmmm... well if a thief wan to really steal, he can do like lots of things.... like pick the lock? hahaha  well if really the thief wan to drill/grind the lock away, he needs a power drill... doubt tat a battery drill can last to drill... but the best way to keep your bike safe is to put in your home... hahaha :cheeky:

but i guess the best method is still the preventive method... no alarm nor locks are full proof... bros out dere shld keep a look out for those suspicious looking fellas, rounding at mscp... tat is still the best way to keep our bikes safe n other bro's bike out dere too...

btw its jus n idea, ISNT dis thread saying "any preventive measures to protect endcan from being stolen?" ..CANT STAND TO LOST AN ONLY EXPENSIVE THING ON MY BIKE(NOT A RICHMAN).. NO HARM TRYING RYTE.. IT MAY BE UGLY N BIG.. BUT WHU NOES.. IT MIGHT HELP..

skali the thief see so hard to take out all the preventive measures he take the whole bike how?

if its hard to take out, I hope he(thief) change his mind to go n look at others bike that using security bolts or welded pipes ONES..

use original exhaust. a safe bet.

there isn't a way to prevent ur pipe from stolen. it only slows the process of being stolen.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
