Southeren or New Southern, both also service good, the lad at Southern that attended to me was Ben (Ah Ben), IMO u really have to ask alot, Ben quoted me 700 downpayment initially, after i told him that i just passed and insurance is very high, i suggested 500 which he calmly agreed, also he even asked is that the first shop i surveyed and i said yes and he told me to go survey other shop first and come back if his offer is better, did alot of asking and all was answered patiently, overall i give them 8/10:thumb:

I believe southern is doing a good job compared to few others ard there. you can look for Ben or Thomas with regards to buying/selling of bikes at new southern. im not sure abt old southern for buying bikes. But the mech there is good, the one who stations himself at the right side of the old southern. I think his name is Ah heng. i forgot the name.

btw their bikes do they include any free servicing for first three times compare to like buying from boon siew???

As long as the bike u bought is 2nd hand, u wun get dis kinda service like free 3 mth servicing. No shop will offer dat...

 

 

Normally, they'll sell u and heck care... Dats for most cases...

I always see him doing tourer bikes like STs & FJRs.

 

The rest of the mech station at the back of the shop deals with Sports bikes.

i think the fees was for early settlement. Most shops do have. There's another shop along the same row which charges 500 for early settlement.

who would charge a person 4.4k for an FT sp otr. one of the sales person did.

well, i think that when u suggested 500 and he agreed is that coz he stand to earn more from the interest mebbe... who knows...

I just bought my bike like 2 weeks back from new southern.. and i must say i will not go back there anymore~!

When i bought my bike i was promised a full servicing from them... so i thought hey its quite a good deal considering that the bike is quite new and cheap..

Before i went down to collect the bike i gave them a call askign them whether my bike is fully done up and ready to collect.. they said yes.. so i took a cab down...

I went there... my insurance not done, iu not fixed... nvm.. they let me ride my bike back.. so i thought ok... i ride out only i realised the bike ****ed up.. travel at 60km/hr only the whole bike like wanna explode already.. i went back the next day ... told the mechanic what's the problem... he say oh this one normal one just some air valve stuff.. so he pretended to fix then say okie done.. i took my bike out again.. same old sh*t... went back ###### the mechanic and i told him to check properly ...

That's that.. then after a few days i realised my bike like damn rough i went to another bike shop ... to my amazement.. EO nv changed at all, spark plug damn black...

That's new southern for me and i will nv go back there anymore

all the ppl there are screw up one just for those mech...I also kanna chop deep inside my pocket man.If never pay installment u have to pay $150 towing fee but this is not the end they see ppl one. My friend also got tow he pay $200.WTF man

i will never ever go back there for any shi* and i told my friend not to go there to buy bike.idk why so many ppl wanna go there let them chop loh. all the stuff they sell dam expensive.take the colour nut for example.Ah bee can give free they charge u for a dollar.That motor shop really piss me off man

i bought my sp from southern the one at the corner de.. it was total f up.. i donno how da hell he charged my insurance til 800+! it was second aprty anyway.. i was eager on getting the bike so nv asked much.. he only showed me the price i down n the installement so on bla bla.. den i was like ok lor... after weeks my insurance letter came n shocked me.. on riding the bike out, they told me they had done full service. i reached there to see my head light both dif colours.. brake lights no light.. most important the petrol inside gt ****ing "alot" petrol.. ride out only.. like 2 bus stop dead... lucky my friend ride his bike to a near by kiosk n bought some for me.. first nite only.. my footrest dropped due to they nv tighted it. few days later i bought to another bike shop n check .. know wad? 1 side fork slant.. both side fork seal broken -.- cost me some money to fix.. another thing i wan pt out is.. on sat i went to sign gurantor with my mum.. tt ah lee asked me wan P plate anot he say he fix it up for me.. i was like free one anyway den ok lor.. den monday i collet bike he ask me wan anot.. i said u told me u fix it for me free.. den he said no no where gt free one.. $8.. i discount for u.. i was like ^%$$# n he sold me a cocked up KISS helmt for $20.. visor starting turned yellow le.. i bo bian no helmt must take... advise to pple out there.. NV EVER VISIT THEM

My experience with New Southern has been a very pleasant one! I've only dealt with Ah Khoon, and would strongly recommend them to my friends to purchase bikes from him. So far we've got 3 R6 O6 from him, very transparent.

my bike is new bike, got prob, tow to them, change the part, still can charge me for that. bike is only 3 wks old n its under warranty n still charge me?? they say will call me after the job is done but i call, huat-ster nvr ans... call 2 times, on hold for 10 mins, fed up n hung up... as if my hp bills is foc. so i go down n ask, he tell me ok liao, too bz so 4GET to call. wat he mean by that?? i said i called him he nvr ans, he act blur...

 

another case is 1st oil change during running in period. they charge me $10 for mineral oil per bot. 2nd oil change i went to planet, $7 per bot. they overcharge me!!

 

 

shame on them... wat type of service they have??
