Due to inexperience in riding and age below 21...the insurance premium will be alot higher and if the bike comes with faring or it is a sports bike it will also add the cost of insurance premium...

When I was 20, with a newly get 2B...I got a Kawasaki KRR150 first hand and I paid $1288 for insurance...and you cannot imagine how much the First Party premium cost ...$2700!!!

be patient ah in my opinion coz u can get discount if u stick to NTUC.:p

however, i heard some storied bout NTUC's policies being inadequate for most riders. meaning, repairs etc they will get 3 shops to quote, and they will pay for the least expensive one.. so a shop could quote them really cheap, and do a lousy job. just my 2 cents :cheeky:

My insurance for Phantom was just about $230 (with 15% NCB) for 2nd Party when I sold it in March this year.

I'm paying about $680 for my current bike, 2nd Party with the same NCB.

I got my first bike license 13 years ago... you do the math & estimate my age

:btw: next year onwards I'll be in another age bracket for insurance premium calculations, so its gonna get cheaper for me :D
