tinting of all lights are deemed as illegal...

cos it affects the full functionality and visibility of the lamp...

so its a summon offence... 70 bucks perhaps

YUP... I had tinted headlight protector sometime back in 2003 on an R1. Immed S$70 fine when pulled over.

I always wonder why wearing sunglasses in helmets are allowed (Ok they can be taken out... so what if i use tinted visors only in the day?), but not tinted visors. Our locals motorcycle visors should adopt the 70% light transmission like car windows too!

Thank You.

ok if tinting headlight is illegal, den what about signal lights? it doesnt affect the visibilty and still can be seen by others

Tinting/partial covering/masking of signal/tail head lights are all within the same parameters of offence, as long the components emit lights for indication/warning/visibility purpose.

I changed my front signals to an almost twice the size of an OEM. I wonder if they are going to summon me... sigh... :giddy:

Thank You.

I think in our fine country, as long as you pay for license, most things are legal lah. Look at HD bikes, the exhaust so bl**dy loud like a Chinook heli and can still gather in big groups to ride the streets. Last time HID is banned but now OEM already has HID. It is all about the money. :)

It is better to keep quiet and remain a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubts...
