In terms of petrol consumption, they're both roughly the same, ie. 40++ km/l. So, it will come down to the actually price of the bike and ur preference on whether u want to ride a scooter type or a chopper type.

erm .. in both in term of safety i will choose phantom as the tyre is wider den spark .. which spark tyre looks like bicycle tyre to me does i dun hav much confident on spark when them on road wif high speed ... IMO

mayb spark user can clarify abt tis better ..

phantom is stable, bigger fuel tank, wider tyres, got a lot of chrome parts, difficult to U-turn.

Spark is stylish, easy to squeeze traffic, easier to maintain, fast pick up, small underseat fuel tank, abit cheaper than phantom if buying new one.

Phantom is heavy as hell, but i tried my friend's, very comfortable!

The comfort level is the same for spark.. unless u put racing footrests on. IMO, I think Spark is better, alot of mods and accessories available. Take spark unless u want to go stock.

Owned both bikes before.

Sparks feels safer than phantom despite the smaller tyres. Does not really "shake" with wind as mentioned. Even travelling at 140km/h (real speed should be around 110-115km/h), it still feel quite stable. Light and accelerates fast. Complaint is fuel tank too small, have to visit petrol stations frequently and bike feels a bit cramped when pillioning.

Phantom's weight distribution and rear brake cannot make it in my opinion, fishtails easily in emergency or wet conditions. Front brake not that good. Bike feels heavy and slow. Phantom 200 have the problem of "eating" engine oil. Plus point is that can put bigger and more boxes than sparks and bike feels more comfortable, even with pillion.

Overall, i feel that sparks has a better package.

Phantom is a cruising bike so manuver wise not as good as others, i have ride it before, very comfort bike with style, superbe FC......but the biggest problem is its rear break, it's too strong and easily caused the common fishtail problem, and it's DANGEROUS! But if u know how to use it properly, it's still a good bike to me

Most of the time, Phantom will only fishtail when one do emergency break, or when the road is wet. Other than that is fine. I dont know spark will fishtail or not if one do emergency break....

all that you've mentioned is true, except that it ain't hard to u-turn with phantom. All those up to class 2 licence seen me riding my phantom into bbdc open house knows why it is not hard to u-turn :thumb: but for me I'll choose a spark or wave over phantom anytime. except when i need to carry loads of stuff.
