KNN some bastárd sabotaged my bike during the past weekend.

Parked at Downtown East. Suspected the idiot(s) either purely saboh-ed me, or went to try my bike but lost control and decided to be funny. My whole left side is screwed up. Spotlights broke into pieces, headlight bracket warped beyond repair, crashbar broke near the mounting, scratched. Saddlebags scratched. Mirror broke. Handlebars slightly bent, triple tree's riser screw hole widened, front fender got scratches and paint spots grazed off.

 

Right side, got palm-sized splashes of dried mud on tank, chrome covers, front rim, engine, saddlebag. My DIY temporary box got scratched and abused.

 

WTF MAN..

 

I locked my handlebar. I armed my alarm.

 

No security cams. Took them photos and reported to both police and Downtown East. I expect nothing to happen though... Now have to slowly fix. Real slow, damn tired already.

 

Thanks, to think i was having such a great time and had to go home with such a bitter feeling. I console myself by thinking that at least it wasn't like, because of an accident or something, heh. Anybody wants to donate?

just met up with someone, now I know who was the underage rider who died on the phantom sad case..

Yas, i feel for u....so close to my home too. I guess that ur bike is eye-catching that someone would want to have a go at it but surely not till this extent. Its okie to just see and mebbe touch but to do this to someone's "darling" is just purely cruel. Yas, how come he can do this much damage to u without anyone noticing? Where did u park?

Thats damn unlucky. Slowly repair it. Maybe you can exchange some pointers with Xilled to mod it to something different. I doubt there will any results from the investigation. Unless there are withnesses.

You park which part of DTE? Under the Spiral Ramp? or infront of the Escape Theme Park?

I suspect the bugger dropped the bike when trying it out or something, and then he himself or another passerby afterwards carried it back up. The dried mud stains on the ride side of the tank weren't drooping downwards, so prolly sabotaged while lying on the left side, on the floor.

Yeah i did consider, but i'm really financially tight... Unless he can be willing to go pro bono

I dont expect anything to come back from any 'investigation'. There's no replacement for my left side spotlight now, none with that specific make is still in production.. Currently wrapped the bloody thing with 7-Eleven plastic bag to keep the reflector and bulb socket dry from rain. Tmr take MC and go AhBoy, will see how.

quite a sad case, don't think it'll be good to share it out here. Too many would object my opinion of it though I symphatise the fella too. Just now I shared with an ex ta & r1 rider and he too said the fella is somewhat selfish, well different mindsets with different thinking I guess
