 by this logic, then why do people wear windbreakers?? to break wind???

Its just a name lah, a figure of speech, no need to take everthing literally ma...

windbreakers do "break" the wind... jackets keep you warm in winter can't protect you from wind chill, windbreakers do

may all be well and happy

but i am sure drag bar is not very comfortable as wide bar or pull back style..

It depends on what you like and what youre accustomed to. I doubt Hide will feel awesome when given a beach bar.

i was thinking of switching to custom4 handlebars.. would it be nicer/closer to what i want to achieve?

What do you want to achieve eh? The C4 handlebars are comfy, and narrow enough to squeeze traffic safely. Regarding safety when using dragbars, i cant think of any but you have to get used to it, of course.

I have the best signature.

whats the wind chill? I feel chilly (not chilli) when riding with it or even off my bike and wind blows at me.Hmm maybe my windbreakers is lousy :cheeky:

wind chill? most jackets (cotton, wool, fleece, etc) keep us warm but their fabric allow lots of air to pass through. so while they’re pretty warm under normal conditions, they’re not warm at all if exposed to the wind. cold air seeps in through the fabric and you'ld feel the freeze biting into the bones :giddy:

good jackets mostly come with wind protection as well, meaning their high tech fabric (e.g. gortex) blocks out the wind but still allow breathing or ventilation through the fabric. else its like wearing our raincoat and we'll be perspiring like hell in the mobile suana suit http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/TV_and_Movies/zombie-en-feu.gif

custom4 handlebars bend slightly more towards the rider am i right? compared to the older version of handlebars..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

I wore windbreaker at my earlies 20s. They were good for doing a windmill in your break-dance skill whereby you can spin easilly. And also a trend for street breakers. Heh heh heh

These modern days, the kids are doing windmill without their back touching the ground!

I wore windbreaker these days to avoid my office attire being stain with dirt which my woman have been complaining how difficult it is to wash.

Cheers!

Hi dragonforce,

Switching to whichever.. the final decision will be yours only.

Some like it, and some don't.

Go along with your heart and decide what theme you want your bike and your riding personality be like.

Wide handle bar, Triple Trees set, 3 big fridge alike box, chief indian fender, custom indian paint job, single seat, put up a big stomache, grow beared, tats of your woman on 1 side of your arm, german halh cap helmet, etc etc etc...

You should be able to achieve your theme concept finally I guess.

Good luck.

Lastly, think of a country to migrate. Coz in sinkapo, the law never let you do what you like with your bike on the road. Oh man.. that sulks!

Cheers!

If you are the phantom rider, please pm me, i would like to thank you, and just fyi is the driver is going to pay for my full expenses spent to repair my bike.

Thanks once again! PK ROX :thumb:

Yeah, there is more pullback and slightly wider.

so, drag bars not good for long rides? xD

Generally i can safely say, yes, not comfy for long rides. Can be straining for the back. Unless you like it like that :p

erm dude if the drag bars aren't for drag, then why the name??

Was riding home in the horrid heavy rain yesterday while tuning in to Class 95, when Jean Danker said something like, "I think we prayed hard enough, the sun is up! Oh my God i can't believe it! What a day to go for some tanning...".

Then she got an SMS in saying she's a jinx, as dark clouds were starting to hover Tampines area. I was at Clementi and i was wondering if it was the only area that's raining heavily.
