The steering damper is to reduce "wobbling" or "sway" effect from the handling.

As my rear's quite heavy, the front tends to wobble or sway, so having the damper does reduces it.

 

Riser is stock.

steering damper is mainly to prevent unwanted tankslap.. top mount steering dampers wont come cheap.

IMO s4 is already a comfy bike. add a good windshield like givi or puig and good to go touring bike.

there's a few S4 on the Used bike for sale. perhaps you wanna take a look and get 1 from there and start building slowly??

No lah, big bike. If you see it another way, the fees are less than 10% of the original price, but still must be aware.

other shop is more straightforward, admin less than 300 boh liao unless ur fren is saying the diff between OTR and machine price lah...

advertised price is machine price only , so if you add insur la admin fees la bla bla bla 1.3k for big bike is cheap leh .

dont they break down the cost of the 1.3k ?
