1) For looks i think Posh type are ok. But i'll put my money on 2nd hand OEM disc from bigger bikes for performance

2) http://www.h-e-l.co.uk/HEL_Performance_Mot...Lines_Brake.htm

3) http://www.dp-brakes.com/dp.php

each time i press on my rear brake a loud and dragy sound always sounds. so i thought it was time to change the brake lining. So i went to change it. But even after i change, the sound seems to get loud. Its very irritating. Has anyone faced such problem. I would be grateful if someone can help. Thanks.

i read a thread from one of our brother here that no matter what you change, the brake pad, the rim, still got sound, so don't waste the money.

1 suggestion is to change the amount of space of the brake, meaning adjust how much you need to press the brake pedal. for my case, different spacing produces different loudness, but still have the sound.

the ultimate solution is to change it to disc brake! if anyone knows of any shop which does that, please post it here.

i think its mainly because of the rims that u may have installed....

if i am nt wrong.u r using non-original rims?

eg: racing boy, excel....

its a recurring problem....

Noting much u can do........

CHong rims always are nt standard and have gaps that gather dust and water which causes the sound when u brake on ur rear....

No leh, i'm using original rims. So I always wonder why other waves don't have the sound when braking.

Actually, i feel when have the sound, the brake is more 'cia'. cos there are times when i brake and there's no sound, it don't feel as cia as got sound leh.

but now i'm just waiting to change to disc brake. if the yamaha model have disc brake, it should be do-able on wave mah. any lobang will be appreciated
