I agreed with neslo-ice, the pipe is:giddy:  :slapforehead:

I rather have the old pipe of K4,K5

i prefer the K6/K7 pipe. anyway i believe those getting the K8 most probably will change a after-market exhaust.

:giddy:

hows this gonna work out? 125cc power, 400cc power and 600cc power?

or... heaven forbid... 400cc power, 600cc power and 750cc power....

the mode selector is for changing the ECU mapping.

there will be 3 maps in hand so at anytime u want to change the map to suit the road condition or riding style it can be done at a flick of a switch... cool man

i know what a mode selector is, i'm surprised they put it in a 600cc, considering the reason they gave for the 1000cc was to "bring the power down to 600cc level during wet conditions". the reason makes sense on account of the power of a 1000cc, but i dun see the need to down a 600cc power even lower to 400cc. it makes the mode selector on the 600 more of a gimmick than a neccessary gadget.

what i'd rather have is a switch between 'v-twin' mode for torque in daily road riding and 'inline4' mode for power at track, but i dun think they've invented such a device yet....

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Hmmm... when K8 come out do you think shops will still carry K7?

When I read about the dangers of riding motorbikes, I gave up reading.

Any bros who have used it can share more info on the mode selectors? :cheeky:

Do you fiddle with the mode selector alot?

IMO I think they add it to the 600 also not alot of use unlike its 1000 brother.

Oh yea another thing i would like to ask is how long does it take from the official release of a bike till it reach our Singapore shores?

When I read about the dangers of riding motorbikes, I gave up reading.

as what i know about the mode selector is not use as to bring down the c.c power according to weather or what but to tune the power or fuel/air ratio for different usage like street-use fuel/air ratio configuration, high-speed touring-use fuel/air configuration and track-use fuel/air configuration for different requirement of what power is require for individual needs for the 3 type of usage as stated above
