i totally agree wor. I feel my raider is my best ride, but i still appreicate the looks of the other cubs. and not to mention the time taken to shower love and care of it. and always thinking what can i do to make it nicer. Ups to all cubs!

I am newbie to Cubs but going to purchase one for my dad. Can anyone kind enough to provide me the detail mention below?

 

1) Which is the "best" bike to buy in term of fuel consumtion, maintenance n etc?

a) Yamaha Spark 135cc

b) Yamaha X1 110cc

c) Honda Click 110cc

stocked wave can go 110kph (on wave meter) which is about 100kph.

 

after some minor mods, pick-up is incresed and speed can go up to 120kph.

 

still capable to mod further to increase speed.

 

as for white smoke, depends on the intensity of the smoke,

- thin or thick?

- lasted very long? more den 3mins after starting engine?

if its jus thin smoke and lasted only a while, its most likely the weather cold..

if its thick white smoke, time to overhaul ur engine.

After reaching 120km/h, what other further modification needed to increase the speed ?

my wave used to b able to hit 140km/h.i'm not trying to boast but dis is true.i used racing cdi,modified pipe,n a bigger carb(de one dat has an opening at de side,n need to make a biger hole on de side of ur bike).used a 12(front)/34(rear) spocket.but now all back to stock.

I am thinking of downgrading from phantom to scooter or cub. Considering Nouvo now. Do you know what the fuel consumption and max speed? Also the OTR price of the bike.

I saw a chick riding one in woodlands just Yesterday. Fully tricked out with Yamaha GO GO GO!!! design and heaps of aftermarket parts.

 

I've got a few Thai bike mags and there are heaps of trick bits available for these things. The main reason they are better than "normal" scooters is the large diam wheels which make them much more stable at expressway speeds.

 

I noticed alot of ppl refer to it as a 110cc?

are there any other larger capacity models available?
