i got a DBS pipe for DASH. The pipe got the maker signature engrave on it. U confirm need to use this DBS to get the best out from Dash. In Thailand 9 out of 10 Dash is using DBS pipe.

Yup dats true, our mentality is have another cub can lower the maintenance cost of our bigger bike.

Heartpain to use a tua gu for daily riding or transportation.

I agree wat he say! This is the best choice....

Topic : to buy or not to buy..

Description : that is the question, enlisting soon.. so how?

********************************************************************

oh man!! i really need some help...

i've passed my tp since 11/05/05 (one of the happiest days of my life)

class 2b

i will be enlisting on 8/7/05

i am now without a bike

i want to get a cheap and economically-fuelled bike.

hv been advised by many to get a cub.

:cheer: :cheer:

NOW THE PROBLEM...:bounce:

- should i get a cub although enlisting on 8/7/05

> using it for current transport to work

> thinking of using for transport when go back from Changi Jetty to home in Jurong during BMT

i also currently low on budget and i cannot :bounce: tahan :bouncefire: having a license WITHOUT A BIKE!!!

TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY..

- taking into consideration allowance i get during my ns which is used to pay for e.g. instalments/renewing of roadtax.. etc..

me age 20 but most probably putting insurance under dad's name..

what do u guys suggest

I'd say wait till end of BMT. No point parking at changi getting rusty. Not a good idea too to leave it unattended. Save the money from BMT to get a gud cub. During NS, its all abt $$... Must learn to save man.

Being patient and getting a "well deserved ride" is better then having the itch of knowing sum1 at SFT dismentalling your cub. Think of it as a reward for all the hard work in Tekong. I'm sure u treasure ure bike more that way. Anyway end of BMT u shld have abt 1.2k extra from the allowance mah.

Yeah I agree... Wait after BMT...

There's nothing worst than knowing you've got a bike and you can't touch it.

looking into the fact, u need to consider the following:

1) Are u finanical able during NS for installment or if u can full payment of bike.

2) If u have a bike, u need to go for defensive riding if u need to ride to camp, so that they allow u to ride into the camp.

3) Petrol needs money, so can u put aside some in a month?

4) Season parking > monthly > $15 - $17

5) unforeseen maintenance

6) insurance and road tax

7) u need to cough out alot of money when buying a bike although u can pay installment.

i can tink of all these at the moment to share wif you.... :cheeky:

insurance will look into your age > the youngest in the insurance policy.

Topic : Liquid in tube above engine?

Description : what is it?

********************************************************************

Hi all, was washing my bike when i saw a tube with 1/4 filled with liquid, it is located just above the engine. anyone knows what is it?

Posted

yes, u are supposed to remove that tube, empty the liquid and replace the tube. Its dirt collected from riding.
