major overhaul as in: change whichever stuff thats in the gearbox and engine that are worn?

agree agree man... even my indian neighbor his C70 wah really can 'Tahan' to go daily for newspaper distribution... :thumb:

Hi... all wave riders.... 1st thanx for viewing my post, actually i wanted to ask....

 

1-> my new tt900 tyres how cum like 3 days then abit no air when in expressways i feel very unsafe & shaky leh..... btw my usage is from hm to camp, from camp to hm, from my ger hse to orchard n orchard to my hm almost everyday....

 

2-> sumtimes my gears shifting got stuck like stuck in gear 2 cannot go down to gear 1..... engine oil well taken care of....

 

3-> sumtimes my engine die off when i open throtle when in 1st gear.... n very paiseh when in traffic light & im at the front.....

 

can you guys zhi dian zhi dian tis xiao di here okok??

1st of all u usin sport rim or spoky? n den ur bike 1st hand or 2nd? as for ur gear wise u can try takin out e gear lever n adjust it higher at e back if u r using orig lever..as for e engine dyin part did u open e throttle fast? if yes den slow dwn if nt go get ur carb set..hope these helps:cheer:

Sure, but REMEMBER to maintain ur bike. At the place i work, there r Honda C50s which is bought in the sixties. With proper maintenance, bikes won't fall apart easily.....

Not heavy at all. some more sports rim. This is very impt as tube tyres are dangerous. Very nice to ride. If serious budget transport and shopping, is very recommendable. Looks wise is quite nice. Very unisex design.

Hi i plan to get KTM and honda cub as side bike.

 

I got 5k budget, so i think if i buy KTM 2 .. i dont have enough money to get wave..

 

so is there any other cheap honda cubs out there?

You can get a reasonable KTM200 for 3k FQ/FR, 3.5-4k for an FS and a Honda Sonic (much better than a wave) for about 2-2.5k (FW/FX) if you're patient.

hey there im a newbie in this forum, been following this forum for quite a while, i saw loads of cool pics of wave own by all of u guys.

 

i have a wave S myself, FX plate, been riding for almost two yrs.

your forum kinda made me interested in modifying my bike and stuffs.

and of cos, newbies will have loads of qns.

 

so bear with me please

1) will modifiying the pipe and making it louder actually enhance the bike performance?if so, where can i get it done? price range?

2) i saw big honda stickers in front of the pic of some wave, where can i get it? how do u actually paste it?

3) where can i get good, cheap, colourful shock absorbers?

4) rims and tyres, i intend to change my original spoke rim to sports rim, where is the best place to get it done?

5)how much is a washboard?where can i purchase one?

6)i need to change my original chain to a better one, any recommendations?where and how much?

7)led bulbs?where to get it and how much too?

 

i got loads of queries, really hope u can help me out here....crazy bout wave!
