Topic : which cub is better?

Description : x1, wave-i, spark-z or new 125zr??

********************************************************************

want to knoe advantages n disadvantages of the above mentioned bikes and their prices now. thanks ;)

Posted

personally, if i were to be given a choice. i would choose the wave-i.

reasons are better mileage and its a honda.

wave basically for transport purpose. the power is not needed here.

but then again... its your $$$ its your choice.

would like to know whats NOT good abt the wave-i thou.

Most hot blooded young people that just got a 2b license want their bikes to be fast.. Wave-I comes with a powercut and a top speed of 110-120 stock. But its fuel consumption is 60+km/l anytime in stock condition, but start adding stuff like big box, sport rims and bigger tyres and it will fall to about 57km/l.

among all listed, 125z is the fastest, but the fuel economy is not good compared to the rest.

Spares are cheap throughout.

Wave-i when servicing you cant bring to any tom, ###### or harry in JB.

Prices X1 and Wave-i are higher. A second hand good condition 125z costs ard $2.2k~$2.5k.

If you want to get a spark-z i rather you get a normal 2nd hand wave.

being a former 125z rider and now an x-1 rider i can only give comparisons to these two . 125z fuel consumption can be a b*tch when going on an island-wide trip with your friends and not only that , you must also think about your 2t . My old 125z drank 2t like nobody's business . Having to top up my 2t every week isn't fun i tell ya . And didn't i tell all of ya that i kana summoned by the NEA for excessive white smoke . With the petrol hike and all , i think for transport purposes better go for the 4 stroke bikes . Full tank for an x-1 takes me to and fro from my home in hougang to my school in dover for about 3-4 days . I could only manage 2 days max with the 125z . When i planned to get the x-1 to replace my 125z , i was thinking on these basis , inspection easy to pass (less visible smoke/no smoke) and save money on 2t and petrol . You save a lot without 2t , that money can do a lot of things e.g maintenance , put radio on your bike ... go nuts! . Although i missed the 125z speed and all , i really think that much more speed can be acquired when you buy a bigger class bike . No use having a small bike and mod like mad only to attract the wrong people and putting you into trouble . cheers!

I was using Wave-S and now Wave-I.

Having bad luck when got my Wave-S, the bike "Mati" half way when ride over 80km/hrs. This is isolated case no one else having the same problem. Sold it after having it for 3 year.

Now just get a new Wave-i, Price at $3,300 for the bike, $650 for the COE, +Incurance, Givi box , on the road $4,400. 1 litre can go 60km and No need 2T. Can save a lot $$$$$.

Suggestion : Wave-i, Wave-S, Wave-R

if you're just using it for a short period of time and considering that you wont want to spend that much on a bike . better take the second hand spark-z . The second hand wave would be good to but a bit more expensive then the spark-z .

1,000,000.00 Thailand Baht = 41,340.28 Singapore Dollars

1 THB = 0.0413403 SGD 1 SGD = 24.1895 THB

dun think its worth every baht spent .... erm i mean dollar . Dun think that they'll bring in the x-1r . But i think anyone with an x-1 plus a sack of money can turn his bike into an x-1r (having in mind that the same engine , gearbox and carburetor is used on the x-1r). Just buy oversized disc brakes + caliper , front suspension , sports rims , rear suspension , swing-arm , underseat-pipe . And it'll cost you less than buying the x-1r . The biggest attraction to me is the underseat pipe . Macam R1 lah ! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Your name of Yibin has many sterling qualities but does not give you an overall stability. You do everything with an intensity to the point of fervour, and either you feel tremendous elation or you are in the depths of despair. People often disappoint you because you are idealistic and are apt to place those whom you admire on a pedestal. Then you become disillusioned when they fall short of your expectations. You are quick mentally and like to see things moving at an accelerated pace. Patience is not one of your virtues; you want to move when the impulse strikes you. While such spontaneity is fine at times, you must take account of conditions and employ careful analysis so as to avoid disastrous results such as accidents due to hasty actions. Most things you do, you do well, but as soon as the task, hobby, or job becomes familiar or routine, you are bored and crave a change.
