anyone has a XP SP2 getting cranky nowadays???or maybe its my HDD acting up....seems like its writing something or reading it for a whole couple of mins, followed by 1 min or rather half a min of in activity then starts the cycle all over again, but then again, AVG shows no threat....wth...what is wrong

and also my comp is showing a windows-write delay action failure, seems due to software or hardware issue....arghh

Aiya... windows is not bad la... HDD failing you will know for the unexplained slow downs. System something wrong will blue screen to let you know. Application not running properly will inform you by hanging..

Its actually really good at reporting errors.
