if u r a firefox user, can go dl add-ons.... it is called video downloader... with this u can dl those vids easily.. but u nid file converter or some player which can play .flv files...

FLV files are compressed right from the beginning they get put up on the Internet.

 

In your case, that FLV video that you're eyeing must've been sized small, "W x H" -wise. As such, when you expand it, you're seeing a stretched (and blur/fuzzy) version of the video that you've "resized".

the covertor is not free. it is aud $50. but it can convert quite a number of file format. i think it is pretty good. anyone wanna share? i mean can we buy the code and share between afew of us. can we?

....when u play files in youtube, it would be stored in Temporary Internet Folder. Just extract the FLV file out and convert it. Ususally i convert it into mp4 using pspvideo9 software.

I'm using youtube downloader. it's pretty good and i'm also able to convert the flv to avi file after download.

if you are using mozilla firelox, there are a number of add-on that can download videos from websites other than youtube.

goto http://lifehacker.com/ and you should be able to find some articles and tips on how to do that...
