Actually Bridgestones for Rossi still not in black and white.....likewise goes for DAni. Have to wait.....maybe by the time Team KR finalised it's Ducati GP7 or Ilmor engine, probably Dunlop tyres and the rider lineup, we would know Rossi and Dany's tyre supplier.

2008, good!!! Lots of suspense!!!

if Michelin manage to work within the tyre rules next year, then it just might be Lorenzo's year. and i wouldn't be surprised...

a tyre manufacturer of that status, who got caught off-guard by the unsuspected performance of their rivals, do not sit down and cry their hearts off and wither. a contrast to some of the riders using their product who chose to go to 'the other side' just because their tyres didn't work for only 1 season.

oh well, all the better...

Hmmm, I find the races kindda exciting, from the tyres point of view. It's fun to guess who would be blasting and then start fading, while who would start out slow and gain later.

Just a thought.....

Rossi had been very upfront over his displease to share a pit with Jorge Lorenzo. Could the deliberate option of Bridgestone be the reason not to share the same pitbox with Jorge? It's confirmed he will have his own pitbox because of the different tyres.

after yesterdays race, this came to my mind.

at the first race, commentators were claiming the M1 to be the most advanced bike. but ducati stole the show.

but i think rossi's M1 in particular has proven to be most unreliable over the pass 2 yrs.

Fiat Yamaha Team finalises 2008 line-up

Following the conclusion of the 2007 season, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd and

Yamaha Motor Racing Srl are pleased to be able to confirm the final

line-up of their 2008 Factory Team.

Seven-time World Champion Valentino Rossi and two time 250cc World

Champion Jorge Lorenzo will contest the 2008 MotoGP World Championship as

team-mates in the Fiat Yamaha Team.

Yamaha can also confirm its plan to run Valentino Rossi on Bridgestone

tyres in 2008, while Jorge Lorenzo will be racing with Michelin tyres.

In order to facilitate the use of both Michelin tyres and Bridgestone

tyres within the Yamaha Factory Team and to ensure confidentiality of

data for each tyre company, Yamaha will organize separate rider pit

boxes, but the Fiat Yamaha Team will continue to operate and race as one

team.

As a consequence, the organization of the Team for 2008 will be as

altered. The full-size flowchart can be downloaded from

http://www.yamaha-racing.com.

Then i guess the dukes are gonna sell better. ;) maybe it time to get a 1098. Can take part in 1000cc race rite. cos 1098 take part in WSBK.

BTW. Dario Marchetti and Ducati won a spectacular victory at Daytona in the first of the Motorcycle Races of Champions, the series of races by invitation only, reserved for those who have ranked in the top three places in an American championship race in the past two years.

Also, The Ducati 1098S won the title at the Magny-Cours circuit in France today, when young Italian Niccolò Canepa powered to the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup for the Ducati Xerox Junior Team.
