jia lat la. my chrome is wearing off fast. cham cham cham. where can i bring my bike to re-spray the chrome parts huh? i m using this "Polish Sealant - restorer and revitalizer" recommended by lady boss @ Jurong Branch. I wipe bike like almost every 2 days but like no effect. do u guys use bike cover?

i thought the modding of the pipe to be louder is illegal?

the mod for faster can be done any one of the CKA outlet. but i forget how much less then $200 for sure.

kobesingh: yeah it is illegal. quite a number of mods aren't legal alas. even my maltese cross rear brake-light is considered illegal, although to me it's a safety precaution (done stylishly lah ) that keeps me visible to other motorists. but so far i've heard from alot of cruiser riders who say they don't get pulled over for having loud pipes (unless they actually revved right beside a police car), or for other mods on their bikes, and even their half-cap helmets. so i think it's not much of an issue.

 

but one problem would be the annual inspection, in which case i'll just have to put back the silencer and disconnect the brakelight.

 

btw how does cka mod daystars to go faster? do they change the sprocket to one with less teeth, like some shops do with phantoms? i hear that increases top speed, but blunts acceleration, esp at low speeds.

roy told me 42teeth socket is for pick up, 40teeth socket for long distance,but 42teeth make ur bike vibrate more.

oh. can rechrome one ah? thats gd! hope its not gonna b exp. i really hope can DIY. chrome @ exhaust pipe, taillight n headlight appears to have alot of small small holes due to rust. thanks redsky.

 

i just saw another daystar FW plate with the paintwork design same as mine near jurong cka.
