Hi I recommend you visit Ban Hon Brothers at

Block 5022, Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2

#01-19

S(569 525)

The auntie is honest.

Or

Another 'brother' (it's a workshop), the uncle is serious looking but is fair and friendly in his own way.

Block 5038, Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2

#01-419

I went to both addresses recently and they offered to take my bike for less than 3K. I also saw a good condition FBC blue color Honda CBF150 at the first address. The second address has a red one. Condition looks good as well. Go for the blue one. Price? Ask direct pls.

If possible buy those that still got warranty. But then again pls check if the warranty is transferable or not from the org owner to new owner.

AS Phoon is also another good place to c look as they have more to choose from. But I've no experience in dealing with them.

I think the most important is to get your licence first.

you are very lucky to leave the malaysia custom. without your passport and the entry white card stamp, they can easily detain you for illegal entry since they can prove that your last entry was logged in july.

this is what i always do when i enter JB. (some recommendations)

1. never bring your normal wallet, bring another wallet with only RM$ and some sin$ only and driving license. (never bring IC!!!!!)

2. if you thinking of shopping, A single credit card is enough.

3. always wear a waist pouch position to the front of you, keep wallet, passport and entry white card and phone inside.

4. not a gd idea to use sling bag to subsitute waist pouch

6. never put expensive items in your box, best is detach it before going in

7. bring along a spare helmet bag (cloth type) its damm useful if u need to bring back items from there. (since no box)

8. disc brake lock if you are going to park there.

our bike is not sold in malaysia so i think the possibility of it getting stolen there is low.

bro wertdeviruz,

glad that you are ok and safe and sound.

its fortunate that you are not robbed at knife point considering there is only the 2 of u.

bro biposto,

U are the man of the day...kudos to u.

if really go by book, u don have to go KL embassy. u just have to ask ur parents to go SIR building to ask for a report/letter say that ur passport lost.. and that report/letter is a temp passport to get u back to spore..

anyone having issues with your starter motor on the cbf150?

i have replaced mine once during warranty period - cos it just died!

and now, after abt 1yr time aft replacement, starter motor acting strange again. sometimes it just won't start, requiring me to push start! and at other times, it starts just fine. (abt 50-50)

1. battery is still ok

2. sparkplug still ok

3. once start, bike doesn't have any problem

4. is there an inherent design problem with the starter motor?

Kindly advise, and could you recommend me best place to change the starter motor. (Going back to Boon Siew will just be giving them a chance to slit my throat)

ok bro.....i too had trouble with the starter 4 the first 6 months riding my bike....1 thing i realised.....under your seat....where the air intake to ur filter....did u put any cloth there?.....if yes...dat definitely caused u the choke....and u'll be starting the bike til ur batt wears off....hehehe

anothere thing is.....cold start....common problem....i oso have to push my bike down MSCP slope to jerk start my bike.....hahaha....my bike prob lies at the end of my sparkplug cable the one that leads up to under ur fuel-tank...its not visible....to see it.....ur fuel tank must be dismantled.....mine is loose....and i can see sparks when my mechanic rev....open throttle my bike....scary bro.....that caused my bike goes no power and cant even hit 40km/h on a normal road.....so try check ur bike again....if still the probs persists......well thats where warranty comes in handy....

request for a new bike.....check ur bike details on which year ur bike is manufactured....cheers
