its up to bros...there are reasons why the true racers or even BRS racers will tell u to buy a damper/stablizer.they will tell u y it is important.i myself didnt care until u feel da famous shakes to tankslap when u go fast on da tracks.its not for looks or style...its safety dudes.if dun believe me...do a research :) racer46maut is a racer i guess? kudos to u

Hi bros. Was wondering if anyone riding r6 '05. The old type but w inverted forks. Just wantd to knw if There r any major probs w e bike. N total mileage.

it's not exactly safety, but more towards improved handling. ;)

 

steering damper not only works in the corner, it works before the turn, during the turn, after the turn.

 

unless you know what to do during a tankslap, with a quick enough reaction, chances are you will experience a high-side.

 

most of the newer bikes come stock with a damper, surely there's some reason behind it. agree?

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

Bought r6 08 today. :) no helmet have to use 2nd hand helmet frm bikeshop lol.

Fyi, try to keep the fuel tank to more than half. Else yur balls and thigh will be burnt.

My bike from full tank, mileage abt 170-180km. I can smell my balls burning.

Thats quite bad fuel consumption for a stock bike I guess.

Paddock stand? Hahaha. Not as portable. Unless got car.

Install bobbins af the rear swingarm.

use a wooden rectangle plank to lift up one end of bobbins,right side.

There u go. best if the end of t wooden plank being shaped 'U' to hold the bobbin in place.

 

Another solution, install mainstand on yur r6
