thanks guys for the info regarding the ticking sound. appreciate it. Intending to change tyres since mine are shinkos now. want a tyre that's good on the wet roads and is able to last for longer distances. been doing some research and heard good things about metzeler z8, might be changing to that. any one has any experience with z8, or maybe suggestions about any tyres you guys are using now? eg pilot power 2CT or pilot road?

 

z8 is a touring tyre. will confirm last a longer distance so do all touring tyres.

Previously was running on m5 when I still had my r6. To me it had quite good grip in the wet. No problems whatsoever. Distance wise I think most of them more or less the same.

 

Am currently running on the qualifier2 with my bike now. On dry roads it feels superb. Not sure about the wet though cause i don't ride if it rains.

duration will depend on how well u maintain ur tyres(tyre pressure, suspension setting). no comment on wet grip. personally i find no diff riding with a dragon supercorsa and a diablo corsa 3 in e rain.

yes u can. refer to ur owners manual.

u can use 10w40,10w50,15w40,20w40,20w50

I bought it 2nd hand so i don't have the manual, from the SAE 10-40W it seem ok, but because the bottle stated for scooter so i am a bit worry .

Gosh, few days ago after a gentle wash, my speedometer spoilt. Checked with Unique and it cost $190 to replace it.

 

Anyone got idea if the speedo sensor will be loose or smth instead malfunction? Code error :42 !

if u wanna play safe then get a fully syn grade oil. my mech recommend me to use 10w50 or 15w50 as its a high rev bike n veri hot n 10w40 break down too fast.
