actually thinking of putting ohlin steer damper, and maybe change to galfer superbike brake discs, brembo calipers. i just dun like the look of the stock calipers ,to me it look like a toy. haha...

 

maybe u can quote the price of full sys, hopefully with pc3. i might consider again. SMS at 98474901.

Guys izit normal wen u brake and the bike vibrate?? experience diz wen i travel at ard 120 and i brake quite hard my bike starts to vibrate...izit becoz my disc??

 

Could be brakepads, tires or even the tarmac itself. You have to be more concise.

yes and no, i think brembo performs better than stock. and i myself a fan of brembo.

no doubt aftermarket brembo calipers will probably perform better then stock.. but the thing is.. do u realli need tat additional stopping power when the stock is oredi powerful enuff..

And most like to get to top speed as fast as posible, i like to get to zero speed as fast as possible, haha.

Did anyone here with a R6 08 have this vibration feel when u pull the throttle ard 220km/hr upwards?

 

I can feel vibrations coming from the frame..not like my previous 1000rr where I can pull near to 300km/hr without my bike vibrating..

 

Maybe its bcos I come from 1000rr then downgrade to R6..so I have this uneasy feeling.

 

Anyone with any inputs?

I got mine from B*** P*********. interest ive forgotten, should be 4%/yr-4.5%/yr of the remaining bike cost (after deducting OTR minus dwnpaymnt). There's a HL sticker on the swingarm. Thats should be gd indicator, where the source come from. Insurance i got from NTUC tpft, 1.2~1.3k.

 

Engine Ice plus removing sponge, temp is 70deg? Thats awesome!

sorry for late reply, didn't know some1 quoted my nick. Hmmm, I spray it together with my repairs as crashed at PG. So not veri sure about the exact price for the paintwork. But whoever intrested in doing paintwork with patching of fairing, might wanna try southern, heard from them they can patch it back a crash fairing back to originals..

can any guy enlightened me what is the advantage to convert to 520?

and our stock is 525 or?

Stock is 525.

 

Daily usage don't require 520 conversion. Chain is way more expensive than the stock 525 size.

 

You save on unsprung weight; less rotational mass which equates to blah blah blah..

 

only comes into effect under race usage.

Yes, already mentioned in the last post. Not for daily usage. And "weaker" is not the correct term to describe it. It's in no way weaker than a 525.

but i think even 525 to 520 doesnt save much weight, think the most weight save will be changing to carbon wheels... while i type i alredy dripping saliva.
