That to a certain extend is true..1st I don't know what grade they use from HRC for their race bikes, 2nd I told you to give me specific part no so that I can get a quote or if I can get them..The HRC link is something I give so that me, you and everybody has a reference since its the best thing I can refer from.

 

If you think top grade HRC ecu and harness kit exists..get that specific product code and give it to me..I check.

 

For a moment, I tot CBR boys will have a strong support from you as you mentioned you've some relationship with HRC satellite racing team. It turn out to be just as what HRC upgrades that can be found commonly "flooded" in the open market.

 

Higher graded parts exist, but not release to the public. If they knew the part number for the "higher" graded HRC parts, they wouldn't had approach you as you mentioned your quotes are from satellite racing team with HRC support.

 

HRC are good stuffs but selfish as they release marginal upgrades to marginal race teams with some higher upgrades money can't buy.

 

YEC may be the same as HRC, but YEC standardize the stages of upgrades and release to the public at premium "affordable" prices.

Nope..direct frm Japan..a Japanese satellite racing team with direct links with HRC.

 

Ok..I will ask for FIM and ST ecu and harness set together with cd and interface. Its not gonna be $600 as quoted above hor..

 

FIM maybe the full race version..ST maybe the superstock version(comes with meter)

 

I'm not a HRC technician..haha, so tell me if I'm wrong..

 

For 2007 600RR kit is not available according to HRC website..only 2008. I assume you want the 2008 ecu kit set? Cos 2007 and 2008 are compatible..Anyway I will ask for both 2007 & 2008..Pls refer link below..

So am i right to say that what u mention about the Satellite racing are using the product from the given link?

If so i can say that those parts are not the better Grade they are just the HRC normal Grade which are release to public thats why there are cheaper then YEC.

Im looking for better Grade which are not release to public. From wat u mention i thought that ur Satellite team are using better Grade but to my disappointed.

 

I'm not very sure on this issue..but i do know HRC has many Faction.

Japan/Europe and not sure if the States has either.

 

But Chottoh have u tried approaching the S&R engineering Japanese guys(Sato & Ryuta)??

Hi all R6 bros.

 

I'm torn between an R605 and an R606. I will be using this bike for quite sometime and will be committing to a bike shop for another 4-5 years max. I don't go touring nor do I use this bike for track, but I'm awed by its handling and sheer power. Would decide on either one by early Feb but I would hope that some kind souls would give me some tips and pointers on deciding which one to get.

Thanks for your valuable insight bro. Anyway I am aware of some bike shops marketing their 06 between 4 - 5k higher than the 05 version and I've been told by them that the main difference is the short pipe, outlook and slightly better performance parts. I'm not sure if that justifies the much higher increase in price though.

Hmmm..i think u should consider..

Sportbikes models get faced out faster than those touring models..

Technology,Upgrades,OEM Parts get difficult to access as it get older..in Singapore at least..

 

I suggest Really2 consider ur utilization,set ur buying budget..

don juz end up buying something u might regretting..

Yamaha Sportbike Engine are built agressive..so longevity & durability are not Yamaha strong points..

Why are u so eager to point me wrong?? Have I already said that I couldn't get them? Or have i said that the HRC ecu that is readily available is the premium ecu which u can't wait to say i'm wrong??

 

Maybe the point of HRC dun come cheaper than YEC is 50% true but I also like to point out to you that your sentence is wrong too. Some HRC parts are cheaper than YEC.
