Oh. I think I saw this light once. For my case I think it's because I didn't ride for 2 or 3 days. Since then I don't see that light. Maybe I should try not to ride for 2-3 days and see if I'm right. LOL.

 

Mine did light up briefly for a few seconds when i didn't ride it for 3 days, but not once after since, don't reckon it's a big problem unless it keeps coming back.

 

Why not let your mech have a look?

I don't think it's a issue too. So long I ride everyday and every 2 days. Don't see it blink anymore. Only that once.

Hey Clarence, I sold my precious le.. got quite a good price from a fellow rider who appreciates it.. Hope my bike will serve him well too.. Quite sad.. Got to part with it le.. But the new owner onli took the stock pipe.. So if anyone interested in a rare blueflame end can pls pm me!!!! Or can txt me at 98561990 Mickey here

Hey everyone im riding r606 and im quite a newbie and while riding it the engine oil light turns on for a while riding it and turns off after 5 sec and i dont knw is my engine oil lvl low,anyone can help me why it is like that?

hi, kindoff a late reply but just for info theres a default timer for you to do servicing (say 10 000km/ 20 000km) its by default. the reason why the light when away after servicing is because the mech reset the timer. Those who do regular servicing will not have this light because every time you service your mech will reset the timer for you. The most probable answer on why it happened to you is it MAYBE because the previous owner did not send it for servicing for 'quite sometime'..

Guys, wat is the different between normal servicing and top servicing? And about valve clearance, how they do? How much it cost?

 

Normal servicing, would be changing of engine oil, oil filter (I does this every alternate servicing). Depending on the grade/brand of oil used. Cost varies from $x to $150.

 

Top servicing, had no prior experience before. Valve clearance, has to be done after a certain mileage. I supposed?

 

Any gurus can enlighten? :)

Ystd one guy made me go all the way to CCK and dint answer my call. I stay at Sengkang and I sold my bike ystd.

Today morning I msged him wat happen ystd but no reply... :sian: :dozed:

 

 

 

More or less settled with a bike I like. Just finding time to transfer... :cheeky:

Clarence: Of my top servicing comment! Haha. My neighborhood has a R6 with GPR Thunderline. It's as loud as thunder. Lol

 

How is yours doing?

 

Did I? Psps. Haha. My thunderline I find rather quiet leh. That one you heard loud! Maybe with header.

And why does the bike feel rough at 6,000RPM?

Yup got quite a gd offer from a nice buyer:) won't be getting one soon to prevent more nagging from my mother, but in future I most prob will still buy one... Not sure what yet but hopefully a duc.. Hopefully!

I got turned off about hearing from my close friends that a duc servicing within the 1st three times at the agent amounts to almost 1K.

 

Not sure if you have heard the same. But it is indeed on my XMas wish list in the next 2-3 years.

No probs. Yeap. It's as loud as my neighbourhood's R1 with giannelli pipes.

 

You should just fix in the header and it's roaring.

it's because your mech did not reset the timer, that's why the indicator lights up.. Bikes like X9, X8 have servicing timers too..
